Why not? They attract attention and symbolize the danger of sex without protection. The message reads "Without a condom, you make love to AIDS" Not being funny, but, for starters that spider is giving the lady err...'oral pleasure' (unless arachnid appendages are located on their heads). Now the chances of catching HIV from someone's mouth are slim unless they have gaping, open sores. That chick doesn't look like the type who'd go for someone with that appearance.

Spiderman's new suit went down a treat with the ladies. Sorry to be glib, but these aren't really that effective IMO.

I'd start off with Getz/Gilberto. Play it once through then stick 'O Grande Amor' on repeat play until the death knell. All the time masturbating furiously, belt around neck and golfball in gob. Well, it's as good a time as any -
adopt mockney-cockney voice Grant or Phil. It's faaahhh-mily.

At first I was thinking, 'Crash', from about 6 or 7 years ago???? Then I had a skim thro' the site. Looks good. We'll probably have to wait a bit longer for it here though

Charles Kennedy is the leader of the Liberal Democrats, the middle ground, the third way. I don't doubt that he's a nice fella, insofar as a politician can possibly be. And who's Conan O'Brian?

What is your Faith???? (or lack thereof)
tonym replied to Rooster_Ties's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
Now it's got me wondering/worrying which 18% of me is Sevent Day Adventist? If it's as much as a little toenail, I'll still be pissed, but that wouldn't even count for more than about 0. 5% anyway -

'Imagination' indeed. Ditto, one of my favourite sets and the first disc in particular as a date is some of my favourite Getz, from any period. 'Yesterdays' is a marvellous piece of tenor playing as is 'You Go To My Head'. I also love the studio quintet date where they play 'Autumn Leaves'. A real desert island set for me. I cannot praise it enough without getting all slushy.

What Are Your Earliest Memories of Music?
tonym replied to Brownian Motion's topic in Miscellaneous Music
As a very young kid, we didn't have a stereo in the house, but I remember at maybe 3 or 4 watching 'Top Of The Pops' with my older sister. I'm sure this was many British kid's intro to music of any description. Catholic masses featured music of a very different genre, as did school assemblies which seemed to go on forever, with much 'happy clapping' My earliest visual memories are of the above TV prog with the likes of Rod Stewart and fortunately, Pan's People who were a dance troup choreographed to the bands who couldn't appear on the show. They featured some very attractive chicks who would go on to play a large part in my formative years.... At my grandparents house they had a tape recorder (the single speaker variety) and one tape; some Jim Reeves compilation. That was it. At about 6, we moved house and my uncles would visit more often, one played blues guitar and he gave me a large poster illustrating loads of 'leccy guitars like Strats and Flying V's, stufff like that. I had that on my wall for years. My sister around this time was heavily into the 'Bay City Rollers' so my poster lost the fight for wall space with all her posters and tartan artefacts. It's amzing how one can develop a taste for something which played so little a part during those imprtant years. I remember asking Michael Nyman at a Q&A session what/who he was exposed to as a youngster. He said his parents owned one 78. The 'Happy Wanderer'. Made me think there was hope.
