  1. nice Hulk. hard to look at Frazettas after the freshness of Jeffrey Jones. another monster talent that started his mark in the old National Lampoons. since it's a superhero thread...
  2. a one time idol of mine. here's another Wrightson masterpiece! just how the heck he did all that labware is beyond me.
  3. phewww ... thought fer certain I'd killed off the thread!
  4. so how was this one?
  5. Yipes ... My HOMETOWN!! For a college photography project I visited a small steel mill up in Akron a couple of times in the middle of the night - as that was the only time they were smelting and pouring. That place was something out of a Bosch painting and those guys in there are something else. Damn nasty way to go.
  6. If you're out for just a singular album this one has it all and then some with the abounding party going on.
  7. Just got this for the wife for her birthday. Tis full of (seamless mix tape) grooves yes and I would gather a perfect party disc with a nice Caipirinha haze ... a tad ear-bleedingly mastered from a treble heavy needle drop or what? His first trip down there was not quite up to this one on it's second disc's moderno-mix sides and thus did not hang on to it's green-card in my house for long. It did launch me into a wallet cleansing frenzy as JimR's "Hard Bossa" thread was released about the same time. http://www.organissimo.org/forum/index.php...topic=10523&hl=
  8. yipes ... courtesy of Du$ty Groove

  10. 16th seed no more wishes you a Happy Birthday while donning the signature "RDK" frock!!
  11. my first one ... had it on vinyl and the sound was so stunning that i figured the CD was a ringer. had just seen Joe in Chicago at Rick's Cafe so I was on the hunt. i do remember having a time trying to figure out how to open a jewel case!
  12. Yikes ... this board has sunk to new low(e)s, all of ya! ...that poor little kid doesn't even look old enough to shiva.
  13. pm sent on "blues for smoke"
  14. and "Sucker" going a bit Sonic Kim on us!
  15. ditto to much above ... i've been staying away from ebay lately as it has just become one big mall. has anyone else donned a second identity on ebay so as to only sell from one moniker on buy via another? seems that as i now have over 600 positives for both selling and buying, taking my goodstanding ID and using it exclusively for sales might be wise. then i can have at the sellers i don't like at will. and aside with agreements to weizen... i sure wish my kids would be more Japanese with the handling of their CDs ... we even eat sushi fer god's sake! and anyone jetisoning classic lyricism like "put me in coach ... i'm ready to play today" must be on meth.
  16. or at least share some of them "upskirt" shots...
  17. So that's why the military was circling the fort yesterday. Apparently Mitt was up in that BlackHawk getting full scope up here on the North Shore. and it's raining again! flooding

  19. Vhat's ein "yadda"???? A UN General Assembly meeting? looks like those few lines are next.
  20. and not only that ... how they gonna keep out all the mimes?
  21. What the man from Longerhans sez!!! I'm not one to get all hot and bothered about the whole fight between platforms here. The guys at my shop bad mouth my mac like it's some chic thing to do? wtf and who cares. I go up and do a bit of work on their PCs and the things are like working on a "computer". Desktop littered with nothing but crap that does get in your way and too many obsessive compulsive touch yer nose, spin around and lick the screen fourteen times before anything can be done. And if we're talking some "Dinosaurs" disc like the Henson or the Disney chances are the friggin' stuff that the son is drooling all over was made on a freekin' mac in the first place. sheesh. Now i'm not one to shout about new OSs either but I am on a relatively new purchase and the "Spotlight" feature on Tiger is just so nice. Noj... you probably have lots of images as I do and being able to type "jpg" or "psd" into a box and having everything in the machine right in front of you within seconds is really something else!! Any chimp can come in and know what is what on this machine. As rostasi said, I think those PC users are all just afraid of the simplicity.
