  1. Was Glenn Miller like Jimmy Stewart? Is your Model A Black? Does you Model A have hydraulics? Why did T come before A? Do you have a hand in Laserlight's swell graphics? Is Sandy as nice as people say? Why doesn't Catesta like her? BARE AGAIN, I never knew Glenn Miller. He died before I was born. Some people say Miller should have lived and his music should have died. I contest that the plane should have gone down and Miller AND the music should have gone down with it. The Miller estate approved the recordings which were done by a Miller Alumni Band. I was with the ghost band back in the early seventies when it was under the direction of Buddy DeFranco. My Model A has black fenders. The body is niagara blue and the reveals are andalucite blue. In the early 1900's Henry produced a Model A which preceded the T. He returned to the A in 1928 thru 1931. My A is completely original and has mechanical brakes. It was the Model T's that were only black. Don't know Sandy and have no idea why Contesta(pated) dislikes her. I had nothing to do with the graphics on the Laserlight Issues. Actually the "In The Christmas Mood" was originally issued on Mobile Fidelity as "THE STARLIGHT ORCHESTRA". After that lease expired we did a second session and they came out on Laserlight as by THE GLENN MILLER ORCH. DEEP BARE AGAIN Did you see this b? Sexual harrassment, if I have ever seen it...I feel so violated right now! I never knew Glenn Miller. He died before I was born. Sorry, I just figure old people like you and Chris have met everyone. The Miller estate approved the recordings which were done by a Miller Alumni Band. I was with the ghost band back in the early seventies when it was under the direction of Buddy DeFranco. Wow! If you kept a bunch of those MFSLs, you are a rich man! >gold?< My Model A has black fenders. The body is niagara blue and the reveals are andalucite blue. Well, don't know why you would visibly support Nazi fan Henry Ford, but to each his own. Sounds very nice,(Think seriously about hydraulics, and crome 22's though) What Wingy said yesterday. Just did an off the frame restoration and am winning prizes at all antique meets I attend. What Wingy says todayMy A is completely original and has mechanical brakes. . Have you considered politics? Why don't you post a photo of the Nazimoblie? I had nothing to do with the graphics on the Laserlight Issues. Then you cannot be as evil as so very many say!
  2. Well, I think I had many windows open at that time, and hit refresh to see if there were new posts...could that be why? I never log in and out, unless I really dig deep purging anything that looks like a cookie, then I have to remember what the hell my passwords are for this site! 1500, I couldn't have done this without myself!
  3. Neither, Bunny Berigan....gosh, how could you not know that???? >Moderate Alcohol Consumption Linked To Brain Shrinkage<
  4. The R-rated version of Pacman????

  6. I have decided to be 99 every day from today onwards. Off to hoovering again (Miles Davis recorded some great hoovering music, btw). Cheers! hoovering....meaning you are using a vacuum, right?
  7. Deus, Deus, Deus of Earl, Earl, Earl.... Sorry, happy Birthday, don't do anything too strenuous, we want to see you back for the big 100! B)
  8. I'm pro-diarrhea myself......I'd like to know what has happened in the last 18 years.
  9. The most exiting Shortstop ever to have played the game! Doesn't look like Gary Templeton to me!!!! If you only saw him play before the Coke and bad knees got him....
  10. Black Tom Kidd Like anyone confronted with the harshness of robbery on the high seas, you can be pessimistic at times. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr! reliable pirate? That must be an insult!
  11. Yeah, I had heard to make your porn name, use your middle name, then the street....So, a few trainers from Borders and I were having a drink, everyone had pretty dull names, then came me............. Walter Swallow! Much beer was spilled. Cat Swallow just isn't the same is it???
  12. Well, bet me to the punch why don't ya! I was also watching the FBI starring Efrem Zimbalist Jr while doing this post...
  13. Rooster, I am too chicken to click on the link(Who knows what info they can gather ! ) but hovering over the link I noticed it looks close to what you would expect www.citibank.com:ac-k2bu9j566TttjnT...5komnL2nwhaQjkl but it is www.citibank.com: with the colon at the end , then a bunch of letters , then the @ symbol then afisagf3f.da.ru/?5komnl2nwkaqjkl ...so I would guess it is a russian web site so to speak, almost like it has passwords to get to it....I have seen many fake sites from ebay fakers and their email address (or the link itself) looks to be from ebay, but hover the mouse over the email address/link given and it changes into something else! Better forward to Citibank, if you haven't already....bastards!!

  15. Carl Hubbell, great screwball pitcher! In the 1934 all-star game, he struck out Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons and Joe Cronin! His palm faced away from his body from throwing so many screwballs! http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/hofers_a...ubbell_carl.htm
  16. Bev, Thanks for your answers regarding the "ignore" button. It was just as I suspected-for you, it doesn't matter if there is an "ignore" function, you will not engage it. If this is a common attitude, than it does not bode well for the idea that the future upgrade of this board's software to include an ignore function is going to save the day. Now let me get to your post I have quoted above. I don't get this at all. Look, people react differently to different people. Some people see Wingy's posts as, most of the time, a laugh riot. Some people take his posts way too seriously. And some are surely offended by him. But calling a failure to oppose him "cold moral cowardice" is simply a projection of your ideal world on the rest of us. Kindly dismount your high horse. I don't know Dan....In retrospect, I feel I Should have said Wingy/DEEP went too far in his comments towards Chris (And Lord knows I have said some things about Chris ) But what he was doing was simply a cruel, pointless personal attack, ...at first I read it to be Wingy being Wingy and that Chris was having a laugh, clearly he wasn't.....and I feel I should have called Wingy an asshole a few days back...coulda, shoulda, woulda. Sorry Chris.
  17. you know the trick to shopping after Turkey day is to shop at night! Many stores stay open late, and don't even advertise the fact! Drove me nuts at Borders to be open til Midnight the week before Christmas, and only a dozen people would be in the store that last hour, because Borders didn't believe in advertising!
  18. Schilling will waive no-trade clause After three days of negotiations, the Red Sox and Curt Schilling have agreed to a deal on a two-year contract extension. Sources with knowledge of the negotiations say the deal will be announced later Friday night. Schilling Schilling will then waive his no-trade clause and approve the four-for-one trade that the Red Sox and Diamondbacks agreed to Monday. Schilling is signed for the 2004 season for $12 million. It's expected that his extension will be for two more guaranteed years -- $12.5M in 2005 and $13M in 2006 -- with a vesting option for $13 million that will guarantee a third season in 2007 if he stays healthy. In 2004-2006, Schilling will earn $37.5 million, ESPN.com's Peter Gammons reported late Friday. In the same period, New York Yankees starter Mike Mussina will earn $49.5 million. Earlier Friday, the league had extended a 24-hour extension on the trade deadline for the two sides to reach an agreement, after the Red Sox made an appeal that they needed more time and the Diamondbacks agreed The Red Sox sent a message to the Yankees in particular and to all of baseball that they are willing to do whatever it takes to win a world championship. In acquiring Curt Schilling, it hammers home the Red Sox's approach to this baseball offseason. Schilling gives the Red Sox a bonafide ace to compliment Pedro Martinez and a pitcher who can matchup with any other in all of baseball. Schilling is a horse that not only wants the baseball, but he also wants to finish what he starts. Curt is a refreshing throwback to pre-1990 baseball. From Schilling's perspective, he now joins a team that wants nothing less than to win the World Series. There will be no rebuilding in Boston. This is a team with an open checkbook, and an ownership that wants to make a statement. Schilling realizes that he has a chance to get into baseball folklore if he leads the Red Sox to a World Championship. I believe that Curt considered this heavily being the student of the game that he is. Yes, the money he will receive for the compensation of his services is astounding. But winning erases all talk of salaries, particulaly if the Red Sox do win that elusive championship. A spokeswoman for the Diamondbacks declined to say why the deadline was extended. Schilling was tentatively traded to the Red Sox on Monday, but the two sides finally came to an agreement late Friday just after the deadline. In a letter posted on the Red Sox Web site early Friday morning, before the trade deal was struck, Schilling said he didn't know if the negotiations will lead to an agreement. Schilling said Monday that he wouldn't leave Arizona without an extension to the contract that will pay him at least $12 million in 2004. "I want a chance to win the World Series for the rest of my career. Who doesn't?" Schilling said at the time. "But I'm in a position to kind of control that." In the days before the deal was struck, a Red Sox delegation met with Schilling and his wife Shonda in Arizona at the Schilling's home. General manager Theo Epstein had Thanksgiving dinner with the Schillings as talks continued. Schilling, a former Philadelphia Phillies ace, had expressed a desire to get back to the more intense, East Coast style of baseball. And while he has also spoken fondly of his time in Arizona, Schilling is also aware that the Diamondbacks want to trim their payroll from about $94 million to about $80 million... MORE....FROM TOM "COTTON" CANDIOTTI.... The Red Sox sent a message to the Yankees in particular and to all of baseball that they are willing to do whatever it takes to win a world championship. Let's see how the Yankees react. This offseason is just starting, and it looks like it's going to be a fun one. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?id=1673290
  19. "Mommy," says a little boy, "is God black or white?" "God is both black and white," the mother explains. "Oh." He seems confused. "Well, is God male or female?" "God is both male and female." "Oh!" Suddenly the boy's face brightens. "God is Michael Jackson!"
