  1. This one is an interesting aution to start this topic: Freddie Hubbard: Goin’ Up (MONO/DEEP GROOVE) - $256.-- reserve not met and 4 hours to go!!! Goin' up on eBay!
  2. TANYA The entire "One flight up" is such a great recording. The Drew original from side 2 "Coppin' the haven" is fantastic too. ***** (5 stars) I have the LP and like the cover very much.
  3. The Woody Shaw box was the last set reaching the 5.000 mark! All other sets going OOP after the Shaw timed out. The Shank box for instance were sold only 3.500 times within five or six years. Unbelievable but true!
  4. Seconded! Yours is in good hands, Hans!!!
  5. Gary, I hope you have the Blue Mitchell already in your collection. It's essential!
  6. Just noticed that the Tristano, Konitz & Marsh is on the "Running low" list, together with the "New Orleans sessions". The Blue Mitchell is now on the "Last Chance" list.
  7. You're not alone with this idea! When the set goes on the Running low/Last chance list it will go OOP very quickly IMO! Mosiac sets - The new investment idea!!! TM B)

  10. Must be an american writer with an american view! Here in Europe we know very well that many new ideas come from scandinavian musicians! Watch out for the more recent ECM output for instance!

  13. Hi Dmitry, I have all of them but will only sell "Roy Eldridge - SWINGIN' ON THE TOWN" & "Tal Farlow - THIS IS TAL FARLOW". Can't send you a mail or PM!
  14. HMV Japan offers these reissues for 3.333 Yen + shipping (Pre-order). That's approx. $31,50 or €24,50 at the moment.
  15. I found this (short) thread on the BNBB Europe. USA Blue Note Board
  16. With Roy Eldridge, Tal Farlow and The Jazztet we have three Verve Elite releases that will be part of a new Mosaic/Verve set. Well, that's a trend!!!
  17. Is the CD copy protected in the U.S.?
  18. It's rather like the Phil Woods box I think. That box was limited to 5.000 and no other label was involved.
  19. The Farlow will be a hugh Mosaic set. 20. I have the LP. It'a a great trio date with Ron Carter on bass and Jimmy Cobb on drums. I thought that this session was never released on CD outside Japan.
  21. All I know about these boxes is, that you outbid me!!!
  22. Thanks Dan!
  23. Has anyone heard rumors about a forthcoming THREE SOUNDS Mosaic box or Mosaic Select? I don't know if I remember correctly but I think something was told on the old BNBB??! I'm just curious . Thanks!
  24. Yepp. It's not my favorite Mosaic set either. It's nice to have it on the shelf so there is no gap between #185 and #187.
