  1. Melissa Aldana - Back Home
  2. Definitely. I was surprised that Pat Patrick went for what it did. I think there has been multiple reissues. I know of the P-Vine one from a couple years ago for sure.
  3. Agreed. Hell of an auction. I was outbid on all 5 items I bid for. They all seemed to be inflated by the bidding process.
  4. I agree. Great stuff. As a classically trained audio engineer (I want to sound fancy since I rarely use my skills) I love stuff like this. I picked up a couple Edison wax cylinders in South Dakota on vacation a couple years ago. Used for display purposes only.
  5. If you hear anything let us know. I’d like to get them as well.
  6. Damn. 2020 is a shit year.
  7. Appears this being reissued didn’t hurt the Value.
  8. Haha. Now you know why I found it strange the article was on that site
  9. Oh it’s a real thing that people believe. This is where I first learned about it being a thing and apparently I was late to the party.
  10. The tower records rep didn’t seem concerned that the cd would cease in Japan.
  11. What a strange article to be on OAN
  12. John Fumo - After The Fact
  13. John Rapson - Bu-Wah. Such a fun record.
  14. David ii - Love ii
  15. Dickey Myers - Dickey's Mood
  16. That makes a lot of sense. I prefer the UK design as well. Its an interesting record given the juxtaposition between side 1 and side 2.
  17. I picked up the vinyl bundle from Sen Morimoto which included his new self titled album and his previous release Cannonball.
  18. John Surman - Anglo-Sax. Picked this up today and a local shop that has appointment shopping. Not sure why they gave this a different name and album cover for the US.
  19. For $20 that’s a good haul. The power bank and wireless charger probably put you over $20 easy. I started using wireless chargers in hopes to avoiding replacing cables when manufacturers switch charging ports.
  20. VinnY Golia Large Ensemble - Facts of Their Own Lives followed by: Richard Grossman - one...two...three...four..
  21. I’m familiar with Grex version, and from the video with Henry Kaiser they appear to be two different takes on the same inspiration so they shouldn’t have an issue coexisting. If I remember correctly Grex did a set in the valley of a love supreme also with Vinny Golia a couple years ago. I wanted to go but going to the valley is something I do much anymore.
  22. Coming Nov. 13th on Cuneiform Records. Vinny Golia - tenor, soprano, & baritone saxophones Henry Kaiser - guitar Wayne Peet - Hammond B3 & Yamaha YC-45D Organs Mike Watt - bass John Hanrahan - drums This is a pretty interesting project and I'm looking forward to hearing it. Not surprising Henry says he was inspired by the Yo Miles! series with Wadada. I have my copy pre-ordered. There is a performance with some different personal and some background from Henry Kaiser on the project in the video below. Pre-Order = Bandcamp and Amazon
  23. Prince - Dance, Music, Sex, Romance 3LP bootleg 2LPs are commonly referred to as Small Club from 1988 and the 3rd LP is from Dortmund, Germany also 1988. I do enjoy finding Prince boots on vinyl.
