Wow...didn't know Double Indemnity had appeared on DVD; I'm still sitting here with my VHS copy. What a movie! But I can't help wondering how it would have played if they used the ending from the book... You guys are on a higher plane than I; last movie I popped in a player (last night) was Beavis and Butthead Do America!

Well...I won't confess to thinking of this myself, but if it came to a vote... In all honesty, I was really touched by mine, even though everyone seems to get one, but I'm more than willing to be lumped in to the "in advance" category. Once is cool, but after last year, another would just remind me of how old I'm getting...

I'm stunned by this...I saw the first eight games he won, but then it was about time for our annual "it's summer; screw the TV" period. The one where my other half gives up her 20+ hours of TV, and I give up Jeopardy. So, I've missed the streak. Hopefully I can pick it up in September. Absolutely amazing!

It was in 1992, when I was forced to close down my comic book/baseball card shop. Went through a case of rum in about a week and a half. Woke up one day and it dawned on me that it really wasn't accomplishing much, and that's the last time I overindulged.
