That is weird; I've never heard anyone who was really into music (as opposed to background noise) make the claim that better sales were proof of anything.

I think of The Matrix series as sort of a more complex (and much better!) execution of the ideas used in Tron.

I don't know if I'm "in" or not. I dropped the ball in the last one, and didn't participate at all. I mean, I listened to the disc several times, but frankly, the music was so far outside my experience that I didn't post anything. Thing is, I really enjoyed the disc, so it was a great experience for me. But I'm still pondering.

Dear Sir, I am a Nigerian prince who is desperately trying to move his Jazz collection out of the country. This priceless collection includes every Mosaic ever made (LP and CD versions where applicable), unopened original pressings of all Blue Note albums, and of course the rare Buddy Bolden cylinder in mint condition. I would like to transfer these to you, but I need your help...

Why do they have that picture of that pretty girl on the package with a beatific smile in the company of Mr. Mircrophone? Something's suspicious here! Yeah, I'll bet the original product for this package wasn't "seen on TV"!!

I'll second that one! You know, every once in a while I'll reorganize all my CDs so that everything is alphabetical regardless of style...usually drives me crazy after a while for some reason, but it's interesting for a short time. My LPs are almost always like that, but then they're such an odd mix of stuff anyway...
