  1. I don't know about that, but I'm pretty sure that Coors Light is one of the top bottled waters in this country...
  2. Yep, some serious kid memories are wrapped up in that show and his work.
  3. Bet it never comes to the theater here. I'll have to wait for DVD release.
  4. I'd pretty much quit drinking beer until I moved to Oregon. Can't say I'm a regular drinker now, but what I find here I enjoy.
  5. http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/obituaries/charles-durning-oscar-nominated-king-of-the-character-actors-has-died-at-89-in-ny/2012/12/25/6ed89de0-4e67-11e2-835b-02f92c0daa43_story.html I was just thinking a couple of weeks ago (during my umpteenth viewing of The Sting) that this man has been in a lot of amazing movies.
  6. If I had a vote, it would go to Peterson, with no hesitation.
  7. Congratulations. I would have posted sooner, but from that first post, I wasn't sure how you felt about it!
  8. Henry Orient Ed Ames Bill Steer
  9. I had my first and last Michelob in 1977. I'm glad the rest of the country finally noticed the obvious...
  10. I really should give Moorcock a try sometime; all I've ever read by him is Behold the Man.
  11. I understand people having that gut reaction, but come on, that's their job. It's what they're supposed to do. If the Jets think trading Tebow or Sanchez is the answer to their problems, they still don't have a clue. Unless part of the deal is a gun to the head, what GM would take either of these? Sanchez is at best a has-been, although that still puts him in a category over Tebow. The Broncos were lucky enough to find someone dumber than they are, but the Jets will be damned lucky to find anyone stupid enough to take either of these players. Of course, Oakland is always a possibility...
  12. Then it better be late in the day; that's my next day off.
  13. You mean there's a possibility that some NFL players are using steroids? I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you.
  14. Well, you didn't run the table, but still, that was an impressive week!
  15. I'm not much on Heart as far as the body of their work, but as far as pop-rock goes, I thought Steamboat Annie was excellent. Much better than the overrated Fleetwood Mac albums of the time. (Yeah, I know I stand out like a sore thumb on that one; what can I say?)
  16. Bash Brannigan Charles Firbank Stanley Ford
  17. I can't wait; then people will quit talking about this BS.
  18. I agree completely. Can't stand them myself, but they should be there. Not that I care about the R&RHOF; I think it's an absurd concept to begin with. So you're neutral on Neil? 'cause Geddy Lee's voice can't possibly be a positive. I've heard better sounds after stepping on a cat's tail...
  19. Biggest loser of the week: Alex Smith. It's over, dude.
  20. Ouch ouch ouch...well, first place was fun while it lasted. I wasn't getting too comfortable since I've finished in the cellar every year I've participated so far.
  21. I've got to say before the games get going, I'm shocked that only two of us picked Baltimore. That was the toughest game to pick of the week for me. Which isn't to say I got it right... SS1; where are you?
  22. Suart Wenn Tony Dell Albert Holmes
  23. Kirsty Alley Della Street Dusty Rhodes
  24. I just looked at this week's games...can I take a bye week?
