Perfect for John Zorn fans who hate Pat Metheny!

Yeah! True. That's pretty funny. It's a really stupid idea, but I'd buy that album. Chick tends to be surprising with the kind of groups he configures sometimes. There's been flashes of his free playing days in more recent stuff. Surprised ECM hasn't done a "Circle" box set I'd like that, a Circle box! Just a few weeks ago, I was having a conversation with a friend about a Circle reunion. Why not? What are they waiting for?

Gotta dig it out and listen to it again. In fact...time to listen to all three of these again. I've had Shut Up.. since the beginning as an import and I remember it had some golden moments.

Ditto on Guitar, but I never really put the time into it. Trance/Fusion is another guitar album.

It's OK not like every Zappa album, they're not all my favorite album. Because I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and, doggonit, people like me!

It's probably the only McLaughlin album I don't have!

I remember jumping around, playing air guitar when I was 11 to my sister's Woodstock album. One of those songs featured Alvin Lee playing a burning solo on Goin' Home. At the end he plays a final chord and his guitar is soooo out of tune. RIP Alvin Lee!
