    That refers to making copies of your prints, for resale. Moreover, the fair use exception to the copyright laws does permit making copies for limited use.

    I purchased one with Maggie and Fats, and one of Mobley. When I get these I’m going to see if I can get these two and the other two I own placed in one big frame. I will have to see if that works.

    I will probably look to buy one but years ago I purchased three prints so if I don’t get one it’s not the end of the world.

    After seeing your post, I wrote to MC. He responded and said that Images is being sold to UMG and that he will continue with Mosaic as before. Since UMG owns BN, purchasing the image company makes sense, for them.

    There were also some autographed books up for auction. Some of them brought high prices.

    Sorry to hear that as well. Years ago — probably late 90s — I spoke to him when I was purchasing several CDs from him. His contribution was enormous. RIP.

    Those stickers ruin the record, in my opinion. I wonder if the owner ever thought these would be sold.

    Thanks Claude. Already on order for me. They can be ordered directly from Sam but Acoustic Sounds, among others I’m sure, will have it in the US.

    The one that comes to mind is Dorothy Ashby’s Rubaiyat. Jazz harp is an instrument I never considered until I heard this album.

    I’m a big fan, even tried to get Michael Cuscuna to do a Mosaic, and I’d go with Moods although I also like Good Deal. If you like Blue Hour, you might like LD + 3

    Not the 80s but Stitt’s Burnin’ on Argo with Barry Harris is superb. 32 Jazz did a great job on reissuing some of his Muse albums.

    Keep my booklets in their original boxes. I have others (for which I don’t have sets) stored in the bottom half of a Mosaic box.

    My son and I watched the new Ghostbusters movie. I saw that Joe Mejduck was one of the executive producers.

    Some of the colors are not terrible; the Billie Holliday VMP is a pleasing blue but they did a Monk one that was a splatter design that was hideous. I think I read somewhere that black vinyl is not really black, as you pointed out. It’s just what we’ve become used to.

    If you’re referring to the photo posted by @BillF I have it and it’s a two CD set, which has 12 more songs than the vinyl. The vinyl was released back in 1976 whereas the cd version was released in 2002.

    I never understood this fascination that VMP, as well as other companies, have for colored vinyl.
