Thanks. I purchased this rather inexpensively from an eBay seller named funkyousounds, who from time to time lists a lot of jazz in pretty good condition. He’s generally accurate in his grading. Right now he’s listing rock but every few weeks he lists about a thousand jazz LPs.

Probably because they’re selling out anyway so what do they care. I don’t purchase a BN record (assuming it’s one I want) if there are problems with them. There seems to be a lot of problems with the Classics series.

There’s a difference between greatest and those who changed the music and you could argue about that endlessly. Armstrong changed the music but did Bix? Marc Myers probably sees him as coming out of Armstrong and Keith Jarrett as coming out of Bill Evans and so forth. Ultimately, it’s just one of those list that people debate but just one person’s opinion. As far as the last 50 years goes, is there anyone who has altered the music in the way that Bird, etc. have? I’m merely posing the question, not making a judgment.

For Serie A fans in the US, Paramount Plus will now be broadcasting the games instead of ESPN, who, as of August 13, will now be broadcasting La Liga. I think La Liga matches are only available through ESPN +.
