  2. "Inside Man" was released in 2006. I thought it was a very good movie with Clive Owens and Denzel Washington.
  3. He is not the lead characther though. Damon Wayans is.
  4. I do not recall paying any customes, but I think I may have purchased a digital download. I will try to check to confirm. Either way

  6. Head up that "I cant' believe it's still here" with the Gato Barbieri Third World and Phenix albums. Those are great! totally agree!! - Flying Dutchman material Would have snapped them up but already have em - only looking for El Pampero (live Montreux '71) Sorry to tell you that El Pampero is the best one of all, best thing he ever did! Today was an example of the benefit of maintaining a good relationship with the owner of my local independent brick and mortar retailer. I got a call from him this afternoon that someone getting rid of their collection had just brought in over 400 CDs and he thought I might be interested in taking a look through it. In addition to about 30 other discs I picked up, I got a copy of El Pampero in mint condition for $6.
  7. Sorry I did not see this yesterday.
  8. I have really enjoyed Zaid Nasser. He has two recordings as a leader on the Smalls label that I think are worthwhile. I also thought that Jon Gordon's The Thing's You Are on Artistshare was one of the best recordings I heard the year it was released. Both Nasser and Gordon are basically straight ahead players, but IMO both insert enough of their own personality into their playing to hold my attention.

  10. I received it before I knew that it had been released in any manner. It circulated simply as a "radio broadcast".
  11. Did I actually miss this one on the site-that-shall-not-be-named? I don't think so. I got mine in an old fashion CDR exchange.
  12. I have a CDR of this recording. It circulates around collectors of unreleased live recordings. I have never seen the actual promo CD.
  13. I have been looking for a copy of this one for a couple of years now. Felt the impulse this morning to inquire here whether anyone has a copy they can part with?

  18. Looking thru the discography, I see two private recordings, one with Sun Ra and one with Sirone and Andrew Cyrille. Are those things available anywhere? St. Louis Blues and Over the Rainbow by Walt Dickerson and Sun Ra has got to be worth the price of admission. A clarification regarding the Dickerson/Sun Ra recording: the two only play together on the final improvisation. The rest is solo performance. Sun Ra performs the two above tunes solo.
  19. PMs sent re: 5 Complete Communion by Don Cherry (BN) 9 Deep Dark Blue Center by Graham Collier 3 UP & DOWN by Chico Freeman and Mal Waldron 3 Von & Ed by Von Freeman and Ed Peterson (Delmark) 2 Homage by James Moody (Savoy)

  21. Looking thru the discography, I see two private recordings, one with Sun Ra and one with Sirone and Andrew Cyrille. Are those things available anywhere? St. Louis Blues and Over the Rainbow by Walt Dickerson and Sun Ra has got to be worth the price of admission. They do both circulate among collectors. There are also a 1979 solo performace om Worcestor, MA and a short (eleven minutes) solo from 1986 that circulate, which are not on the discography.
  22. I agree - Freedom is very good.
  23. The laws of physics say that for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. The law of conservation of matter says that matter is not destroyed, only transformed. These reflections arise from RELYLES wholesale importation of ejp 626's wholesale export of CDs. Go RELYLES, I stand in admiration! (you got some good stuff!) Thank you for encouraging my obsessive collecting habit.
