Set #365 finally made its way across the country and arrived today. I'm listening to disc 1. One thing I hadn't thought of: Mosaic licensed the Telarc stuff from Concord Music Group. Is that the first time Mosaic has ever licensed anything from Concord? Does that mean it could theoretically get in to the Riverside/Fantasy/Prestige/Milestone vaults? Hope springs eternal!

There have been sets devoted to Crosby, Sarah Vaughan, Mildred Bailey, Dinah Washington, Anita O'Day, Peggy Lee and June Christy, and the Four Freshmen, plus the Blues/R&B sets, so a number have been given over to vocalists. gregmo

Well, I did get a shipping notice, but at last check, the set is still on the East Coast (in Secaucus, New Jersey, of all places), so it'll be a while. I ordered immediately after I saw the notice here on the board (like right then--opened a new window, went to the site and ordered), which I saw before I got the Mosaic email. If it's one thing the "new" Mosaic has taught us, it is that you better order it instantaneously if you want to be in the "first batch"! gregmo
