I want to develop a website for a group where I can choose templates, add pictures and text, add pages that can be linked, and other general things. I don't know html and I'd like it to be easy to create and update on a regular basis. What would you recommend? I probably going to host it with ICDSoft but I'm open to other hosting companies. Thanks for reading this and commenting! Mike

I'm excited about it! I enjoy the '77 Dead and I don't own any shows other than the Dick's Picks. I haven't downloaded anything- I just entered the realm of DSL since it became available a month ago. Here's something weird: I entered the Garcia website- they're still advertising 15% off Holiday sale, plus advertising the Pure Jerry Vol 7 (Hampton, VA) but the 15% discount doesn't apply in your checkout and I can't find Vol 7 anywhere on the site to purchase it.
-
Well that's weird....I went to buy RT Vol 2 and it gave me a USPS option (6-12 days) for 2.20. I chose that option and ordered it. Perhaps people complained.

Welcome to the thread! Start from page 1- you'll be at it awhile- fascinating reading though! I'm learning alot!

That's nutso. I thought $12 to Oz was bad, but $10 to Virginia? I think once you log in and go to the checkout you get the different shipping options. I only paid 4.60. I hear its has "THE Sugaree" on it. I think what's going on is the closer you are to Rhino (in CA) the cheaper the shipping. It's UPS? Lon- what was your shipping cost? You're about halfway between CA and Virginia. I'm going to put a few fake addresses to see if the shipping changes depending on where you are. The current Garcia shop (and former GD shop) is in Crozet, VA about an hours drive for me- and shipping for items is the same as if it was going to CA.

Went to pre-order Road Trios Vol 2.....cheapest shipping was 9.99......I'm going to rethink the pre-ordering.

Great game. Possibly the best game I've ever seen. I'm an Eagles fan but I'm glad for the Giants and their fans. I'll always root for the NFC in the Super Bowl. But it also would've been nice to see an undefeated season- which is pretty remarkable in this day and age. Such parity in the NFL! Anyway- good for the Giants- they deserved it.

i have taken the mlb computer package directly from mlb for perhaps 10 years for about $14/yr. i consider it one of the great values in sports. I agree! I did that a few years ago- but XM now allows me to take it anywhere- I drive alot for my job- makes it very enjoyable.

Sounds nice- would love to see a photo of it!

Viaduct? Why would I like to Viaduct? I have chickens........
-
I'm enjoying the heck out of it- and I haven't finished CD 1 in Box 1!
-
I have XM mainly for the MLB package since my favorite sport is baseball. I really enjoy it since I live in the "country" and can't pick up many radio stations- certainly not the Richmond sports stations- but I can get WFAN and WCBS out of NY on my Zenith Black Dial tombstone c. 1938. But I wish I had Sirius for the NFL, the Springsteen channel and the Grateful Dead channel.

I'm living in my dream home! But if I could buy another: it would be a beach house in Duck, North Carolina, on the Outer Banks.

Man Rides Lawn Mower to Liquor Store

"Aggie" is the school name for Texas A&M University. Frankly- I have no idea what an "Aggie" is- and I use the term alot in discussing sports. -

I've seen that more than once in Richmond- actually going to a convenience store. -
I just started reading this thread.....I remember buying the Complete RCA box and thinking that it would be great to get the (hopefully) complete output of Duke....then I bought the Mosaic Capitol and Reprise sets....then realized that I'll need much more money and time than I can afford......so I gave up on that endeavor. The only think I have left is the RCA box because I've only listened to a third of it. I'd like to get a healthy dose of Columbia recordings- does anyone have a suggestion? I'll also start poring through this thread for ideas.

Shipping a Box set from the US to the UK
vajerzy replied to vajerzy's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
I'm sure more- I haven't wrapped it yet, in case someone wants additional pictures. .......I wrap in a few layers of bubble wrap and then a few layers of heavy duty paper over that- it tends to gain weight fast. I try to be conservative in my mail estimates- the worst thing I can do is give an estimate that's lower than the actual cost. that happened one time and I charged the person the estimated cost (to be fair)......on the other hand if the actual is lower that the estimate, then the buyer will be happy. I don't sell alot on ebay so I have the time to work with potential buyers. -
annual too-late-for-chrismas sale: devil tunes
vajerzy replied to AllenLowe's topic in Offering and Looking For...
Mine arrived today- thank you Allen! As an added bonus- in the bottom of the box crumpled in an old receipt was a 1,000,000 dollar bill......my heart raced for second, but alas it was a fake 1,000,000 dollar bill. Bummer. -
Excellent!! I hope they're not juveniles but adults.

MG- that's a good point- I haven't checked FedEx......I will ship whatever method the winning bidder wishes me to do. Someone from the UK requested an estimated shipping cost- thus the question. USPS was the cheapest and that's what I've used in the past. When I completed the customs papers for a UK address, I asked what value they wish for me to declare. I was shipping Mosaic sets. I haven't had a problem as long as I work with the buyers, which I'm more than willing to do. -

It's the Bill Evans Complete Riverside Recordings- the cube set, not the 12x12 large box. I estimated the weight to be 2 lbs and the worth to be $150.00, to obtain an estmated cost; either could be less. -
I have a box set on Ebay- I was asked for a quote to ship it to the UK. USPS seems the best option, starting at $17.00 and the next level is about $28.00. Any thoughts/suggestions on what you've used?

I'm waiting for the Miles' On The Corner box set!!
