Isn't it funny that in the days of free agency, where parity is supposed to rule the league...we've still got a handful of upper echelon teams, a bunch of pretty good teams and then the teams that suck year after year. Doesn't really seem any different to me... Congrats to the Raiders though, they deserve SOMETHING to be positive about.

They are still predicting 25-30 mph winds in Austin, with about 2-3 inches of rain. It's been so dry here that should get soaked up almost immediately. Well, it's a little early to pick an exact path...but at the moment (according to the news here in Austin tonight), it's aimed right at Corpus Christi and will mostly likely be a Category 3 or even possibly 4 when it hits. Then the tropical storm remnants are aimed right for Austin.

I agree with you. However, I think it does knock them down the ladder a few notches as there are very few QB's of Brady's stature in the NFL. I am sure they will still be a competitor, but it does open up the door for a little more competition in the AFC this season...which in and of itself isn't necessarily a bad thing. I do hope that Brady recovers from the injury and comes back 100%, he's a fantastic player to watch.
