The box is a good overview, mostly, but that means it includes stuff from the lean years. I think the Band is great but even I can't sit through the Cahoots/Moondog Matinee/Northern Lights era (except for maybe Acadian Driftwood). I still think the Band's greatest moments are on the first two albums-Music From Big Pink and The Band. Get those

there could have been lots more Dylan stuff. I would have rather have had another disc of unreleased music than the dvd. And the booklet is mostly a rewrite from the remastered albums
Not always- the Charles Lloyd/Billy Higgins double disc had a different image on the booklet than on the slipcase. Same thing with the back image on the latest Lloyd
get the box. It's the best of their early recordings, and it's ltd ed. if you insist on a single disc, however, People in Sorrow is a nice choice. Not as visceral as most of the box but powerful just the same
Where do I find the concert dates/locations for the US? I recently emailed the U of Michigan musical society a request to invite Braxton here to Ann Arbor and they told me that they are very interested in bringing him here and will try to do so, but they had nothing more than that so far.
