Whaling is illegal in Utah, hilarious! There's so many silly laws US lawmakers have mucked up right and wrong and made a mockery of justice. There comes a point when common sense should preclude creating a written law. The ability to judge correctly does not require (nor should it be hindered by) this ridiculously complex system full of loopholes and problematic precedents. Insurance companies, lawyers, and lobbyists are America's biggest problem.

Like a dunderhead I didn't check my personal email and Flurin sent me one about GSlade's request on Friday that I didn't get until today. I've been fooling with this IPod which has forced me to upgrade software and jump through all kinds of hoops on my computer. Right now, my computer is not able to burn cdrs, but I will be working on restoring functionality tonight. GSlade, hold tight, we'll figure out how to get you copies!

Wow, birthdays last three days on Organissimo! Thanks everyone! It is quite frightening how quickly time elapses. All that "life is very short" talk sure is the truth. Life is entirely precious, every waking moment is priceless. I'm very thankful for my life and all the people I have the pleasure of knowing. I am so incredibly blessed that at times I feel guilty for all that I have, even guilty for my own hopes and aspirations for more. It is an honor to know all of you, however impersonally through these pixels of cyberspace. Love and respect to all! Sorry to be cheesey, but it's from the heart!

Thanks again everybody! Last night my family took me to Outback Steakhouse where I had a great meal and received WAY more gifts than anyone my age should receive. I'm very spoiled. I'm about to go trade the IPod Shuffle my Mom bought me for a full size IPod. Hell yeah! B-)

The current incarnation of the Lakers couldn't beat the Piston's bench--I haven't got any delusions. I expected them to lose by 30 last night. I also expect the Lakers to crumble and fall out of that 8th spot, making way for the TWolves if they can ever get their heads on right. I wouldn't get too happy, Pistons fans. It isn't going to be an easy waltz through the Eastern Conference with Shaq and Webber standing in the way. Timmy Turtlehead and the Spurs don't look too shabby either and will most likely come out of the West. Look out Motor City! It's tough to stay on top.

Kobe isn't overrated, he's just a fool that didn't realize how much better Shaq made him. It's SPACING. Look at Wade now, he looks like Kobe used to--the benefit of having the greatest center alive on the block. Now that the Pistons' fans are getting all mouthy, I hope the Heat spank them good in the playoffs.

Chris Webber, even in his declining state, is a better big man than Iverson has ever played with. Iverson, meanwhile, has taken his team to the finals previously and can play well under pressure. However, I don't see the Sixers dethroning Detroit or taking down Shaq & Wade's Heat. My friend KDub says, "Webber and winning don't mix."

I might dislike some things about snow and the cold if it didn't provide me the ecstacy that is snowboarding.
