Good to hear - one day I will finally do that bridge walk (assuming that I can find the entrance). Weather here was great this afternoon. With added bonus that I was able to harvest the first tranche of local blackberries. No need for central heating for at least another month here !

Horace Silver 'The Cape Verdean Blues' and 'Finger Poppin' (both BN NY US mono, ear). Sonically marvellous and a great tribute to RVG's craft.

Very sorry to hear this. It has been a truly dreadful couple of weeks with regard to fatalities amongst the jazz greats. I will spin a couple of his fantastic recordings tonight. RIP RVG.
