  9. Is that price for real? Can't say I've ever seen it before.
  10. Probably correct - this guy Edward English also did a 1966 film about the Fugs.
  11. No problem - I'll hold out for a vinyl.
  12. I'm interested in the Shihab.
  13. I've got it on vinyl. Bought a whole heap of them from Schema but unfortunately they were unable to supply the Sahib Shihab as it had already run out. Subsequently they did a second pressing of the Shihab but I missed it, unfortunately. I must say that they did a marvellous job with the pressing quality and packaging on those LPs.
  14. I've heard that it is deleted (or they have run out of copies) - both CD and vinyl, I believe.
  15. Miles Davis Quintet 'Miles' and 'Workin'' (both Prestige Bergenfield DG mono)
  16. And there's me thinking that this was a thread about Harold McNair !
  17. Just been listening to a few CDs of that Herman set the last few days and it's enjoyable stuff, with some bone-fide classics thrown in from '48/49. Arno Marsh also pops up on one of the later sessions (hope Randy has a copy). I think you'll enjoy this set.
  18. Rip Van Winkle Ltlle Red Riding Hood Rumpelstiltskin
  19. Cedar Walton 'Spectrum' (Prestige blue label stereo) Tommy Flanagan 'The Cats' (New Jazz DG mono)
  20. Certainly would be ebay madness for those 39 single LPs at over $800 :- $20+ per LP is very high. You can usually pick most of them up for $10 to $15 each. I'll bet they're in really good condition though, if the seller is the Jazz Record Center. One for the Blue Note vinyl 'completist', perhaps?
  21. 'Wow Zone' indeed..
  22. Heinz Wolf Sir Patrick Moore Magnus Pike
  23. Tyrone Washington Sam Rivers Augustus Pitt-Rivers
  24. Capuccino and a bar of chocolate !
  25. Wish they would do that here. And the ones under 25 !
