  3. I’ve been telecommuting ever since post 9/11. My work involves the stock market and all the money banks invest. I’ve been extremely busy as a result of the volume of the markets. this pandemic isn’t going to go away anytime soon. China had started to lighten up the restrictions. Today china reported 1300 new cases. That’s just one day. A vaccines is going to be needed to eliminate this surreal nightmare.

  6. Alex Layne played in George Braith's band. I just read on Alvin Queen's and Gary Bartz's Facebook pages he died yesterday. 80 years old. My exposure to him was when I went to see Geroge Braith live a few times.

  12. I've concerted my entire collection to my PC and store each CD/Album on to external drives. I have a backup of each drive. I had one die and I had to redo a ton. While redoing it, my CD-ROM drive died. I am using iTunes to track everything. I keep a quite a bit of information, besides session and musician/Band. I can then export a report to MS Excel. I can sort on various fields.

  21. Glad she’s getting back to her old self. I had heart surgery when I was only 21 due to a virus and Rheumatic fever. Streptococcus made my heart like Swiss cheese. That was 36 years ago and I’m doing fine. Your wife will also be just fine.
  22. Yet another session in a Facebook discussion by two bones players, Buster Cooper and Thurman Green ,that I've never heard about before. Anyone here heard this before and if yes, what's your thoughts? Is it worth tracking down a copy?

  24. With many musicians having downtime because of venues closed do to Covid 19, some are interacting with fans on Facebook. Eric Reed started a listening discussion. I've never heard of Roosevelt Wardell. Looking through my collection, I do have him on the Curtis Amy Mosaic Select. I can't even find much information about him. Anyone else know more about this pianist?
