  1. What? Dude is to blame for his actions and he helped fuel the media circus frenzy. The car "accident", running off to "sex addiction" rehab, the press conference "apology", etc.etc.. Oh yeah, and having sex with all those women, the text messages, the voice messages he left behind...., duh. This dumb ad is just one more piece of the puzzle. I'm not judging Woods for what he did, I'm judging him on how he did it. If your going to cheat on your hot ass wife, do it with dignity, have some smarts about it, and cheat with chicks at least in the same league as her. If for no other reason, Tiger Woods deserves every bit of shit he gets because he is a fucking idiot. His apology should have been..., "look I was a nerdy kid, if not for my golf skills and the money and fame that came with that none of this would have ever happened but we can't turn back time. Maybe I should have gotten some this shit out of my system before I got married and had kids. I'm not saying that would have prevented me from ever cheating but it may have kept me from acting like a little school boy sending creepy text messages to waitresses and strippers all over the country. I mean what the fuck was I thinking?"
  2. My 11 year old Chihuahua still does it, just like when she was a puppy. In her own bed, in my bed, or wherever there is a blanket or sheet. Typical of the breed. It can be pretty comical to watch. Her front legs and body flopping around while she pulls and fluffs. Every once in a while she squeezes out a fart in the process.
  3. From what I've read about the US component manufacturer, the sales to Toyota only account for 3% of their annual revenue, so I doubt this will hurt them. Toyota is the one that will feel the pain, it is their design spec. On top of that the recall in November 2009 for a similar problem was for models dating back to 2002 and the company building the pedals in the US has only been doing so since 2005.
  4. Ford will be introducing the Fiesta (30city/40hwy) in summer of 2010. The Mercury Milan is an upgraded Fusion and may have better seat options. Personally I think Buick is putting out some very stylish high quality product. The 2011 Regal will hit the road this spring. Why not a mid/full size car of the mileage is right? I mean the Chevy Malibu and Buick Lacrosse are supposed to do better than 30mpg hwy.
  5. Merry Christmas to all and hopes for a better new year.
  6. Sounds like it was indeed a good one. Sorry to be late, I've been away, nonetheless I send a happy belated birthday.
  7. Happy birthday, Jim. If you are really Jim and this is really the Org.
  8. When is someone going to drop the Zamfir or Yanni bomb on us? Like Kenny Weir, I've never gone away from that 60s and 70s pop music either, and I've developed a strong liking and appreciation for doo wop. I've got a bunch of heavy metal stuff, but I know there are some here that would want it. Reading this thread I suspect I would find takers for everything I have on my bottom/hidden shelves inlcuding the easy listening which I am a sucker for on a Sunday afternoon. Although if I had to pick it might be the Pilar Montenegro cd.
  9. I don't know if this show is going to last but I find myself interested in it.
  10. My Name is Earl I'm catching every episode I can. Don't know why I didn't get into this show before now. It's pretty fuckin' funny.
  11. Yeah--didn't he say, "I don't want any more contact w/Roger" when he signed the contract? Bad, bad move on Roger's part, calling Betty. We'll probably see it was also a bad move by Bert Cooper to force the contract the way he did.
  12. This is what I love about the show. The entire course of the season has just been completely changed again. Don signing a contract only after Cooper holds a career gun to his head. No question Don now definitely hates Roger. Betty once again looking for attention. Duck and Peggy, WTF?
  13. It's been so many years since visiting that area I can't be of any help. Although, I can say the best sauerkraut I've ever had was in Trieste.
  14. Coincidentally I was just checking your profile today to see when we saw you last and was preparing to talk some trash and now you're back. Welcome back!
  15. Of course it is. Don't you know American Idol with Ellen De...
  16. I've had two. Very little pain associated with the procedure itself as the Doctor that did them was a real pro. Lots of pain before the procedure though. I paid about $800 for each one about four years ago. A friend of a friend of a friend, so that may have been factored into the price.
  17. The prisoner in the video is one of the side characters from The Wire.
  18. I saw it over the weekend. I'll agree with the "it's good, not great" folks.
  19. Nah, it's an Excalibur Phaeton. Look at the turn signal lights on the fenders. Not exactly a kit car, but rather a replicar built from the mid 60s to early 80s. Designed by Brooks Stevens (Studebaker) to loosely resemble the Mercedes SSK from the late 1920s. They are considered collectable now and some can be worth a few bucks. The one in the picture Rolf posted like the one below is probably from the mid to late 70s.
  20. I agree. A complete waste of time.
  21. Congrats! Treat yourself to a $5 slice at Di Fara.
  22. Give it a rest. You posted pretty much the same damn thing back in July. Sad news. Cronkite always was a newsman with integrity. And welcome back, Chris. We've really missed you. This board has been a bust since you left. I get so tired of reading the rantings of the handful of rednecks that seem intent on taking over Organissimo. I just can't get my head around the idea of rabid right wingers listening to jazz. Seems like an oxymoron to me
  23. Dude, how much are the monkey farts?
  24. A nice salad with grilled polenta and corn on the cob.
