My 11 year old Chihuahua still does it, just like when she was a puppy. In her own bed, in my bed, or wherever there is a blanket or sheet. Typical of the breed. It can be pretty comical to watch. From what I've read about the US component manufacturer, the sales to Toyota only account for 3% of their annual revenue, so I doubt this will hurt them. Toyota is the one that will feel the pain, it is their design spec. On top of that the recall in November 2009 for a similar problem was for models dating back to 2002 and the company building the pedals in the US has only been doing so since 2005.

Ford will be introducing the Fiesta (30city/40hwy) in summer of 2010. The Mercury Milan is an upgraded Fusion and may have better seat options. Personally I think Buick is putting out some very stylish high quality product. The 2011 Regal will hit the road this spring. Why not a mid/full size car of the mileage is right? I mean the Chevy Malibu and Buick Lacrosse are supposed to do better than 30mpg hwy.

The one in the picture Rolf posted like the one below is probably from the mid to late 70s.
