Huh, I thought that complete box was just Columbia, which would be the bulk of his releases anyway. Well, Concord put out a 2 cd set of their material, and also the complete Improv recordings in another set.

Concord perhaps? There was an album on Fantasy and one on Bennett's Improv label. Concord put out a complete version of the Fantasy and there is a box set of all the Improv material.

What a musical mind, what a singer, what a painter. You'll be missed Mr. Bennett.

Mosaic just released "The Complete Sonny Clark Blue Note Sessions" and my copy arrived yesterday evening. Sounds great! I'm on disc 2

I got no shipping notice etc. BUT my set just arrived. And what I have heard so far sounds great on my system.

Actually the five volume cd/seven LP French sets are pretty darned complete, there's some missing alternates but there not that essential in my opinion. (I have them via Neatwork volumes).

I don't think you'll ever get there. . . not sure there's a Sony version.
