These are almost all very commonly reissued Blue Note titles. All are quite good, top notch stuff from the label, even if I find some of them boring these days (that's just me with decades of Blue Note listening under my belt). The Green, Mobley, Brooks, Gordon and Drew are ones I would go for first, very strong titles.

My only real wish for 2014 is for my siblings to somehow get it together to cover caregiving for my parents for two weeks in July so I can travel to Texas.

Nice work, reminds me a bit of Flora Purim and Airto, with Raulzinho on trombone.

I really love Tony Scott's tribute to Billie Holiday album, Billie herself doesn't appear on the album.

No kidding! This is going to be a great set.

The version in the McLean Mosaic set, one of the few sets I have in both vinyl and cd version.

I have both the original CD box set and the vinyl version. This is important music in my listneing world!

Beautiful reissue, the gatefold is gorgeous. I had never heard this one before. The sound is excellent, my one quibble is that there's a little bit of a "hole in the middle" sound in the recording when Jeremy isn't playing that I wish were more filled in. I'll get used to it. Going to be playing this one again this afternoon,
