  1. JETman has the set and likes it. He had trouble with scratched dvds though. . . .
  2. The more i hear/listen to Epitaph, the more I like Epitaph.
  3. Now come on, "Albertus Magnum" would be "Big Al." "Albertus Maximus" would be "All that Al Could Be" in a way, or "Biggest Al." I didn't suffer through Latin for years in vain! When I first came to Waterford/Kamhlaba School in M'Babane, Swaziland in 1968 I was two years behind the rest of the class in Latin and as my Latin teacher was the Headmaster. . . I HAD to catch up. . . and I did, in an intense "quarter" where I nearly dreamed in Latin!
  4. Probably has something to do with "cost." I'm glad to see them doing this two cd version though. . . I continue to think the 100 dollar set is silly.

    Art Tatum

I haven't heard that particular set, I've heard the GRP Decca cds and a Definitive release . . . . This is wonderful wonderful music, it would in fact be a good introduction to Tatum's art, you would have much to digest and (probably) marvel over. Tatum had such talent, it's just astonishing.
  6. Ruta Maya organic coffee from Mexico, roasted here in Austin, Mediuim Roast.
  7. My favorites are hand-crafted by a guitarist and stereo amp builder named Eddie Vaughn. He makes an incredible seasoning he calls "Chick 'n Pig" and also a wonderful taco seasoning mixture.
  8. Congratulations! I predict in a few years you'll make a quarter.
  9. Many happy returns!
  10. No.
  11. Randy, I have Lexicon on cd, and I think it's a good 'un.
  12. Rest in Peace Miriam, beautiful songbird!
  13. Harold, If you have that iTunes purchased album on your iPod, it will probably reload it to iTunes when you next connect the iPod, it has a feature that scans for purchased items and asks you if you want to transfer them. . . .
  14. Hope it was AWESOME!
  15. Now have I ever called myself a REAL man? The closest I've come is to describe myself as a loving manly man! I do now have a motorcycle, after having no vehicle for ten years. I love my Harley Davidson Dynaglide "Fat Bob!" The only one of these sets that wouldn't be a total duplication for me is the Stanley Clarke, and I'm not really that jazzed about those sessions. . . .
  16. Matthew! Wow, sounds like one interesting job, and please post when you can.
  17. Dusty Groove has been carrying these. . . .Not too expensive! I don't think these are remastered in any way. I don't have a car. . .
  18. I have too, and you're right, it's neve easy. Sorry to hear this James, you'll always remember him.
  19. Many many happy happy returns Paul!
  20. I think this will be the next PKD I re-read!
  21. Al, I bet you didn't get rid of the lp, I bet it's around the house.
  22. It's that Johnny Smith . . . you should check him out!
