  1. Sounds like a plan!
  2. The winner will win. I'm just sayin' ...
  3. You going??
  4. I use Picasa (the downloadable software) for organizing and uploading. It's then a seamless process to upload to Picasa Web Albums or Facebook or even send email attachments. You also can some amount of rudamentary photo editing. I'm not sure what you are looking for as far as page layout, but you can create "albums" (which I think is your #2 question) and write captions under photos. You can also keep them private and distribute individual links to each album to only those people who you want to see them.
  5. Tonite - Yoshi's, Oakland: Doug Carn - Keys Calvin Keys - Guitar George Harper - Sax Michael Carvin - Drums Henry Franklin - Bass Kathryn Farmer - Vocals
  6. I don't think that Curtis Amy and Bennie Green were OOP yet, anyway.
  7. I always get a confirmation of reported defects from eMusic, but never any followup. It could take weeks/months for them to fix it and you never know when it's ready.
  8. Hopefully that'll wash off. I love the chair, though (we have one with dark brown leather, which is where I'd probably be parked right now if I had a laptop). We have one, too. Desperately needs new cushions, though.
  9. What's My Line
  10. OK! You'll have to provide a review on how it differs from last year's show.
  11. You going??
  12. It really annoys me that Live Nation, went around the country renaming a bunch of venues "The Fillmore".
  13. Yes, I have this on vinyl and it's a lovely album. I wonder why it's never been re-issued on CD...or has it? I just have the vinyl (on Inner City), myself.
  14. The DeJohnette stuff is definitely good. What I would REALLY like to see is a Cecil McBee Sextet album on Enja called "Compassion" w/Chico. I wonder if that's going to be available on his site.
  15. ... an another:
  16. Another great "12 credit" deal. 41 tracks/147 minutes.
  17. Found this in the new Nonesuch additions.
  18. That's interesting. Would have expected those to be down by now. For anyone with ANY interest in Television, that set is a MUST have - no questions asked (even MORE so at 12 credits!). Nonsuch................hmmmmmmmm. Have to check THAT out.
  19. For 12 "credits" each I downloaded Aretha's "Rare & Unreleased Recordings From The Golden Reign Of The Queen Of Soul" (35 tracks) and the Stooges "Funhouse" deluxe edition (21 tracks).
  20. FYI.........they won't last long at that "price". Download ASAP if interested. Hi Everyone, I'm sorry to inform you that Warner made an honest mistake in delivering certain box sets to us this morning…they went up at the wrong price. Many of you have already expressed your joy on the boards, but alas, we have to take them down and make sure they are fairly priced. For those of you who have downloaded any of these titles, consider it good fortune - enjoy the amazing music! If you believe you have lost credits in the process of downloading a title that’s no longer available, please get in touch with customer service here: http://www.emusic.com/contact/website.html We will be receiving much more music from Warner in the coming weeks and months. In the meantime, please enjoy the rest of the catalogue; we think you’ll still have plenty for your Save For Later list, and then some. Cathy Nevins eMusic
  21. Also the Rahsaan "Does Your House Have Lions?" box. Same price. That's in-SANE, too!
  22. That's CRAZY. I'll check that out - thanks. Last night I DL'd REM's "Live at the Olympia". 39 tunes - also only 12 "credits".
  23. For those of you still on eMusic, they just added a BOAT-load of stuff on Warner Music Group, Rhino, Rykodisk and others. Just a sample ... Coltrane Mingus MJQ Talking Heads Neil Young REM Van Halen Replacements Roxy Music Bowie Adrian Belew Madonna (oh BOY!)
  24. Just listened to disk #1. wow.
  25. I think you're right. I only held on to that box because it was such an oddity.
