  1. Have a GREAT one, Barak!
  2. WHOA! That's crazy. I'm DL-ing it right now. I think it's all interviews (not music), but still WELL worth it. This is a little startling (!): 62 Total Tracks, 1500:28 Total Length
  3. I suggest reading the manual. They usually provide solutions to the most frequent problems. That's where the trouble STARTS (for me, anyway).
  4. I've had nothing but trouble with wireless routers. And the more I try to troubleshoot, the worse it gets (and more confusing). I suggest getting some professional help.
  5. I highly recommend "The Baggy’s Rehearsal Sessions". It's a set of loose jamming from the rehearsals for the New Years' Band of Gypsys shows. They're having a great time and it shows in the music. A few of the tunes were previously released on the "Loose Ends" collection.
  6. If that happens - I'm coming DOWN!
  7. I don't think many of those players let you change the battery, do they? My Zen doesn't. But then again, I've had it for about 5 years and it still works fine.
  8. The Warfield again? I might have to go..........again. I know the album much better now. I think it had only been out a few days last time they were here. Agggggg, San Antonio........they're gettin' close to you!
  9. That's a good one - when ELP still had some integrity. Once Keith gave up the B3 for full-time synths, they went downhill pretty fast.
  10. That IS a good album. I saw them twice in '08 which definitely "rekindled the kind of intense enthusiasm I felt for them in the 1980s", too. They're such a solid, close-knit outfit and always seem to be enjoying what they do. I also realized that overall they are a much better live experience than many of their albums (especially mid-period).
  11. A nice P. Tree vid from 2008
  12. Nice.
  13. Cowon looks interesting. I must say, I've never heard of it, but I'll definitely check it out.
  14. As the person who made the last post here and talked up the Zen......I'm now looking into getting a Zune (32GB HD). They're very impressive looking. Much smaller than my Zen and apparently much more functional. The few reviews I've read make it sound like the ideal music player.
  15. Opeth.........definitely worth checking out. (Mastodon, too)
  16. Saw that group last year in Austin. Good show! Currently listening to Dave's "Ashgrove" album which I'm really enjoying.
  17. Great. LOVE Joe.
  18. Don't rub it in.
  19. I'd like to see them. They're coming to Yoshi's soon - I might have to check that out.
  20. If it's anything like the sets that were reissued in the 70's, the sound is excellent.
  21. Saw the Sadies on Wednesday night. VERY intense. See them if you get a chance. Kind of a Byrds/Burrito Bros/surf instro/spaghetti western/psychedelic band from Toronto. They also have played supporting roles with Jon Langford, Neko Case and John Doe. Sunday: The Jack DeJohnette Group at Yoshi's with Jerome Harris, David Fiuczynski, Rudresh Mahanthappa and George Colligan
  22. OK........you guys convinced me that I HAVE to go. Got tix for Sunday night. Will report back ...
  23. I really should go to that show. Will have to do some planning.
  24. Next weekend at Yoshi's Oakland: The Jack DeJohnette Group feat. Rudresh Mahanthappa, David Fiuczynski, George Colligan & Jerome Harris
  25. If you use THIS link.......they're opened: http://www.mosaicrecords.com/
