There is a "file-naming" option in the eMusic Download Manager. By default, it selects all options. Go in there and change it so your files are only created with track number> track name from the beginning.

Whoa...I mean WHOA. Forest Whitaker is just one of THE greatest actors...ever. I really enjoyed this. Makes me want to check out more Red Rodney, too. A few questions: Did Parker really die in Baroness Nica's apartment? And in the credits, it showed the songs as being performed by Bird, with Ron Carter and John Guerin... IMPOSSIBLE!!! So did they put old Bird solos over new recordings, or what? And all of Chan's kids weren't necessarily his, right? Man, what a different time...those poor guys...

Ever heard this Lp set? Flight Log-Jefferson Airplane It has some of those songs...from the side project bands. A nice little comp.

The OJCs are usually just great. I have no problem giving you the go-ahead on those. The cheap Blue Notes aren't quite as reliable; but aren't bad at all. They ain't like the originals, but they're usually better than the current cds. I have received several warped ones, luckily from dealers who let me return them.

That's just great, Chuck! It's great when people marry the right person.... Shelley & I just celebrated our 10 year last month. It just keeps getting better & better. And Fogerty, of course... It's common knowledge that Fogarty has retroactively changed the spelling of his name in order to invalidate his previous contacts. Just how "important" can one dude imagine himself? I do understand "bucks is bucks" but give me a break. Without Fantasy he'd be working a bar tonight. But Zaentz royally screwed Fogerty.

They (or at least Peter Wolf) knew what tunes to cover. I knew The Contours' version of "Purse" from when it came out, but they led me to Otis Rush's original recording of "Homework". I hope they turned some other people on to the originals.

I was trying to play this set the other day...Sunday I think. Well, it was pissin' off my wife. She was finally like, "I can't stand this shit"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it was that cool "Ericka" song, and I'm like, "Can we wait 'til the cool part comes on"? (you know, with all the "Hey"!'s ) Oh and I had to play the 45 version of "Tatas-matoes." "Here come the Man"!!! After that, I had to take it off...to save my marriage!
