Clunky Posted June 6 Posted June 6 David Murray -----Flowers for Albert -----(India Navigation) 1976 I recall the early days here where there was only limited love for David Murray - with as I recall complaints that his was a licks player who lacked the "real thing". This really surprised me at the time and made me question my interest in his music. I now return to his music periodically and enjoy it , whether others do or not. This early session is new to me and very unlike the bulk of his work over the decades. Quote

Clunky Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Takeo Moriyama ------East Plants-------(BBE reissue) Really cracking date from 1983. I think most listeners here would struggle to identify the era. The BBE reissue is in great sound with the music spread across 2 LPs, each relatively short. Lovely stuff and should be easily available still. Quote
