Brad Posted August 18, 2023 Report Posted August 18, 2023 Finishing up the Morse series. Up to season eight. Will miss it when it’s done. Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted August 18, 2023 Report Posted August 18, 2023 (edited) Watching Lioness on Paramount+. It's just OK. It kills time and the acting is decent. The story is a bit far-fetched, especially how quickly they insert the operative in the initial episodes. My wife & I keep trying to watch Only Murders In The Building on Hulu, but we just can't get into it. Nether Martin Short's or Steve Martin's characters are likeable and they seem to go into extreme stereotypes in their respective roles, if that's possible. Edited August 18, 2023 by bresna Quote

Matthew Posted September 4, 2023 Report Posted September 4, 2023 (edited) HPI.Season 2. I watched this during a long plane trip yesterday, and I enjoyed it quite a bit (thank goodness for subtitles). It had a lot of interesting characters, and a nice feel, even though the main character, Morgane Alvaro, was very irritating at times. A very nice police show to pass the time. Too bad it's not offered on Amazon Prime, I'd love to see season one, and the outcome after season two. Edited September 4, 2023 by Matthew Quote

This is a fairly rare season 2 shot. Diana Muldaur's Dr. Pulaski (a character I liked a lot) only appeared in that season. Great series! I'm finishing up season 3 of this one: Quote
Ken Dryden Posted September 11, 2023 Report Posted September 11, 2023 (edited) I was surprised that this series only ran four seasons, I could have sworn it was longer. I don't know if I started watching it during season 2 or 3, but none of the season 1 shows bring back any memories. I just finished the 24th episode of season 1. I get a kick out of the guest stars, which include Michael Dunn as Dr. Miguelito Loveless (a recurring villain), his henchman Voltaire (played by Richard Kiel), others included Don Rickles as a Satanic magician, Burgess Meredith, John Dehner and a lot of veteran character actors whose faces I knew though not necessarily their names. The fight scenes are low budget, as Robert Conrad did his own stunts, but the doubles for the guest star villains were about as believable as those fighting Captain Kirk on the original Star Trek series. Teasing the Korean Posted September 11, 2023 Report Posted September 11, 2023 Ms. TTK and I just finished The Wire. We had of course heard about it for years, but never got around to it. For those who have not yet seen it, it is every bit as good as you've heard. Quote
