Guest akanalog Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 thanks everyone. sorry i didn't write sooner. i have been in the hospital all day with my dad who was getting cancer surgery (got his bum thyroid removed) and just got back. while my dad was asleep post-surgery i took off for a little and took the dog to the vet because he hasn't been eating any food or his medicines for a while and the vet talked to me about putting the dog to sleep because he has stomach cancer and congestive heart failure. my dad's surgery was a success and the dog is still enjoying life (i think) so it wasn't such a bad birthday. and tommorow i am going back to an ear specialist because my ear is still mesed up. hopefully it is reversible, whatever is wrong. at least no one confused me with alan lanakin again! that happens every birthday. is that his last name?
