We saw him in August 2019 at the Jazz Forum in Tarrytown, NY. Trio with Paul Bollenback and Carmen Intorre. I liked how he played Misty.

RIP, the man made some fine recordings and I'm glad he got to make a comeback.  He made at least two dates for BN that remain unissued.  Interesting that he never returned to the label like so many others did.

Man, that group (minus Jemmott) played Cleveland years ago and I missed it.  My appreciation for the organ wasn't where it is today and I didn't like the club, so I skipped it.  Oof.  Rest in peace, Mr. Wilson, and thank you for the music.

RIP.

When I first heard this lovely song a long time ago, I thought it was by Burt Bacharach or someone, but it seems to be Reuben's own composition.  What a talented dude.
