Blue Note doesn't delay the CD. It's also available for pre-order... for $19.98 for a single CD!

In this day and age, putting a $20 price tag on a CD is ridiculous. Next they'll complain that no one is buying CDs anymore.

I am hoping that Amazon will get it for less than that. But right now they're only taking orders for download/streaming.

Wouldn't necessarily count on that. The Joe Henderson CD was similarly overpriced no matter where you looked. Hard not to feel like this is related to them having such success getting people to shell out for the Tone Poet LPs.

I’m not the biggest Silver fan and realize this makes me an exception but the personell and song selections got me interested.

Good point.  Even CDJapan is coming in at $20 for this Silver.

Amazon has it up now for 19.98 and as I had Prime it's my best bet--I pre-ordered.
