Mmm, nope, you can't.  January, February, May and December are taken.  All else is open.

So do I have May? I requested either April or May back on October 21.

Ken, given the exchange above, I'm putting you down for May.

Ken, please note the date on the quoted message above.

Randy, some shared a quoted post above with months that are taken.  Of the untaken months, there are two claimed (you and me).

If you're sandbagging, please choose at your earliest convenience.  Seems like we're very low on presenters in 2026.

Also, just putting this out there -- this is a very small portion of what is, at the moment, a very busy world for me due to some family stuff.  I'll do what I can, but this is NOT my job.  Please remember that when asking questions.  Thank you.

I think it’s been 10 years or so since I last put out a BFT. I hope to retire in March, can you put me down for June?

Indeed, sir.  June is Tom in RI.

Just a quick update on this:

Jan - Dan
Feb - Randy
Mar - Joe
Apr -
May - Ken
Jun - Tom in RI
Jul -
Aug -
Sep -
Oct -
Nov -
Dec - felser

I'm holding off choosing my own, so I'll take one of them, but right now, the important one to be filled is April.

These threads tend to get long relatively quickly, but it's unclear how long I have to edit the original post.

You can always ask me to edit/revise the list in the opening post. As a moderator I can do that.

Thanks, Mike.  Didn't want to bug you until I had more responses.  But if you're around and want to update the OP with my calendar from the prior post, that'd be greatly appreciated.

If we don't have any one for April yet I can throw something together and hopefully get it in by fools' day. Has anyone else signed up?

I love that idea!  I was going to step in if nobody else did, but June or July work much better for me, so if you're up for it, that would be stellar!

Playlist is all set up.  I'll hold of on adding the code to the page until we get a little closer, and then I'll send you the link.

Hey kids, I've been sandbagging on claiming a month to see what develops.  Unfortunately, I can't take July this year due to some travel (nor, really, August).  If we could get a couple of folks to step up for those two, it would be appreciated.

We *still* have the next four months open for presenters.  I'll take one of them, but August is the worst option for me of the four.

I'm taking September.  I think Randy is going to fill in for August.  We STILL need October and November.

I nominate @cayetano given his impressive ability to recognize not only tunes, but musicians and recordings he ought to be able to put together a good 'un.

Thanks, I'm not really sure what to choose, but I can give it a try. For October?

If you could that would be great. Thom would help you out on the MP3 delivery and the naming convention.  I recommend 60-80 minutes total (I think most are near 80). Nobody ever got criticized for a gimme, and a lot of gimmes that get selected don't get ID'd anyway. Hopefully you'll enjoy it and can be a regular yearly compiler.
