7/4 Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 Just trying to make all you dwellers in the Badlands jealous! ← This Summer has been very dull and work oriented. I should have more time to get out after Aug. 1st, I hope. This is the first year in memory, not only don't I have much of a tan, but none! Quote
ASNL77 Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 (edited) We had a bit of rain in Bristol today (UK). No rain for about ten days!!!! It must be the longest period without rain since I arrived in this country! (7 years ago!). Edited July 18, 2005 by ASNL77 Quote

Free For All Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 I heard that it was 122 in Palm Springs today. WTF! Quote
chris olivarez Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 I heard that it was 122 in Palm Springs today. WTF! ← I believe that. I lived about an hour and a half from Palm Springs in a place with the same kind of weather. Unlike where I live now it doesn't get cool at night. Quote

Jim Alfredson Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Today was wretched... humidity at 70%, temperatures hovering around 90 degrees... when finally a thunderstorm rolled through and cooled everything down in the afternoon and it's actually stayed cool. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Quote

ejp626 Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 Miserable, miserable, miserable. It's been in the high 80s or 90s for about two weeks now with no rain. Quite a drought going on here. Quote

Guy Berger Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 Come on out HERE! Heat not a problem. ← I was out there last week. A little hot during the day (I was in Cupertino) but it's dry, the AC works miracles, and the evenings are pleasant. Guy Quote
BFrank Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 SF has its own climate because of the fog. Usually 10-20-30 degrees cooler than the rest of the greater Bay Area. Quote
White Lightning Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 31c (89F) today in Jerusalem, hotter than usual this time of year, which is 29C (84F), but the humidity is low as always (40-45%) so it's quite tolerable. Especially becasue of the constant light breeze and since it becomes much cooler at night. Here's a pic I just shot from my place: Quote
Man with the Golden Arm Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 nice pic WL ... is that the sea in the background? i think we need another shot. it's up to high nineties again and the humidity is a billion. these babies made snacks of me just from the car to the studio.
