catesta Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 Had some serious rain on Sunday night. The temps finally came down the last couple of days. Quote
catesta Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Wet, real wet, and cool. Highs only in the 60s and rain all the way until Friday. Quote
sidewinder Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Quite a climate shock for me. I spent 3 weeks in Malta, where temperatures were constantly over 30° C, and now I'm back in Luxembourg with the lowest summer temperatures I remember (10° in the morning, 16-20° during the day). That's colder than winter in Malta! ← That's how it's been most of the time over here too Claude; truly dreadful 'summer' weather. ← Strange - I thought it had been quite a good Summer in the UK? Maybe the South has had it better than the North (it usually does). I was up in York last week and, predictably, it rained. Always does when I visit. Quote

tonym Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Predictably, August in the far north was bloody awful. Most of September and up to now have been glorious; open top motoring, short sleeves on the bike and balmy evenings outside the pub so far. Well apart from today which is warm and wet. Quote
catesta Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Still raining. As much as I like the rain, we could use a few dry days. Quote
skeith Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 I guess Arizona might not be looking so bad these days, right Catesta? Quote
Brad Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 It's pretty dreary around here today in Jersey. We didn't get rain for months now we're getting more than enough. I assume this takes care of the drought emergency in some towns. Quote

catesta Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 I guess Arizona might not be looking so bad these days, right Catesta? ← Nah, it's gonna take more than a few feet of rain to make me miss Arizona. Quote
catesta Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 A little bit of a dry out today. My cousin in Essex Fells New Jersey had a major flooding issue. Quote
Guy Berger Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 The sun is shining! ← I forgot what it looked like! Guy Quote
sidewinder Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 About 20 degrees and sunny clear blue skies here today. For mid October this is very mild indeed. Quote
alankin Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Sunny and in the 70s after nine straight days of rain. Quote
tonym Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 I've been photographing hot chicks all day in the cold, abseiling of a high, glass art gallery. But I didn't notice the temperature... Quote
Aggie87 Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 I've been photographing hot chicks all day in the cold, abseiling of a high, glass art gallery. But I didn't notice the temperature... ← Whoa!! Need an assistant? I can carry camera bags with the best of 'em! Quote
alankin Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Still dark. ← With chance of sun near dawn. Quote
B. Goren. Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 I've been photographing hot chicks all day in the cold, abseiling of a high, glass art gallery. But I didn't notice the temperature... ← She is very good looking, Tony. Quote
B. Goren. Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 The temp in Tel-Aviv is 27 °C, (app 80°F) and sunny. Quote
Joe G Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 It's windy as hell, and I just saw snow blowing down the road. Quote
