How's the weather?

It's been pretty miserable in Paris for the past week. The Paris Plage fake beach event along the Seine river opened under grey skies (when it was not raining).

Not expecting to really get better until the end of the month :(

Pretty well the same up here - colder than would normally be expected. The usual settled weather pattern has not materialised this year and Atlantic fronts have prevailed. Sucks !

It has been overe 100 degrees for the past week and a half. Don't see any relief in sight except for today, it MIGHT be only 90 something.

I'm in San Bernardino, CA and they always give the temp as in the 90's but where I live, you can ALWAYS add 8 to 12 degrees more. So when they keep telling us a high of 97, I can expect it to be aroound 108-112 degrees. Whew!!

:excited:

I'm on the summer break as of this evening.

I demand 3 weeks sunshine so I can enjoy Sussex, Dorset and, eventually, Cornwall in all its glory!

Things went tropical at Easter. The rainy season has shifted!

Heard the farmers grumbling this morning on Farming Today - a few weeks back it was the dry spring, now it's too wet to get the barley in and another crop is growing alongside.

Hot and bone dry here.

But keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Don, out in the gulf, which is apparently making a beeline toward Corpus Christi. I don't think it will strengthen enough to turn into a hurricane though.

Best case is we get a good soaking rain and little wind damage.
