Oh, I didn't know 'Feelings' by Teddy Edwards had come out on CD. Did it have any bonus tracks?

Noticing how many of those came from the "Jazz 999" series, under 1,000 Yen from Toshiba EMI, now Universal, is there any likelihood/possibility of another series, I think there were 5 of those Jazz 999 series with many titles previously unissued or very hard to find as they were limited pressings.

So, any indication of such a reissue series appearing again?

Dot lps by Pee Wee Russell and Bud Freeman.

Bud Freeman on UA.

Bill Dixon on RCA.

Bill Dixon/Archie Shepp Quartet on Savoy.

George Russell in KC on Decca.

Chicago/Austin High Jazz in Hi-Fi on RCA is a nice album; but why did Mosaic need to reissue as a single when the UA & Dot dates were unavailable.

There were already 2 previous reissues of the RCA:  (1) German as part of the jazz classics series and (2)  Fresh sound (legitimate, licensed).  There was no void for the RCA album.

Houston Person's The Nearness of You. This has not been issued on CD. I've even asked Houston at one of his gigs in NYC but he didn't know. I guess one doesn't always have control over his albums and can't do anything in getting it issued.

Still hoping for Brubeck "The Last Time We Saw Paris" and Brubeck/Mulligan "Compadres". Both were on Columbia LPs, now Sony.

Jaki Byard's two Prestige solo recordings. Some were included in another reissue, but never complete, as originally recorded. Kills me.

Don't hold your breath - I have a needle drop of that double LP. Young plays a very subdued role.

I have the same one, probably. Blogged a while back. It’s just one cut, but I like it a lot, Larry channeling his inner Korla Pandit.

Nice record and an interesting combination. Bought the LP a few years AFP but would like to have a nice cd version too.

I am a real Andrew Hill enthousiast. Recently I found this one in his discography:

Has this ever been released on cd? I think half of it on a mosaic but what about the rest?

According to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_for_One_(Andrew_Hill_album) tracks 1-6 were released on CD as part "Mosaic Select 16 - Andrew Hill" in 2005 and tracks 7-11 on CD as "Pax" in 2006 (as well as part of the large Andrew Hill Mosaic set).

Ah I missed that part. Thanks! Pax was already on my wishlist.

Not sure where you located this one that Bakeostrin indicated has been reissued on CD.

I could not find - Charles McPherson - Free Bop - on cd.

I don't think this terrific LP has ever been available in any digital format:

Mickey Tucker deserves to be heard by more people than have likely heard him.

Don't think Cecil McBee's "Compassion" ever made it to CD. It's live at Sweet Basil on Enja, with Chico Freeman, Joe Gardner, Dennis Moorman, Steve McCall and Don Moye
