  2. BC 38....Calgary 24 A fourth consecutive excellent game from the Lions. The Stampeders are fading. In Power Rankings, I would rate them last in the West. With the win, the Lions clinched a playoff spot. https://www.cfl.ca/2025/10/05/recap-bc-38-calgary-24/ https://www.cfl.ca/2025/10/04/lions-punch-playoff-ticket-with-win-over-stamps/ https://www.tsn.ca/cfl/article/surging-lions-clinch-playoff-berth-with-win-over-stampeders/ https://3downnation.com/2025/10/05/nathan-rourke-plays-with-house-money-as-b-c-lions-survive-late-stampeders-surge-12-other-thoughts/ https://www.cfl.ca/2025/10/04/3-stats-that-defined-bcs-week-18-win-over-calgary-2/ https://3downnation.com/2025/10/04/b-c-lions-clinch-cfl-playoff-spot-with-victory-over-stampeders/ ***** more on Sask-Ott https://pifflespodcast.com/blog/riderville-roundup-october-5-2025/ ***** more on Ham-Tor https://3downnation.com/2025/10/05/toronto-argonauts-mauled-by-tiger-cats-to-end-playoff-fantasy-seven-other-thoughts/ https://3downnation.com/2025/10/05/hamilton-tiger-cats-dominate-all-phases-seal-season-series-over-argos-seven-other-thoughts/ *****

  6. Those two records are the beginning of the concept of The Second Great Quintet as a thing. Nobody was thinking about that group as a live band, not yet. It was those two records that got the ball rolling. In 1976, after Miles was retired and after how many evolutions, and who was thinking about a 10 year old club date shaking up the world? But the they were. You could get them if you had a contact for Japanese records. I got mine in 1981 (after after hearing them fou a few years) at Jazz Record Mart, but I had to order a week in advance, such was the ongoing demand. That's been the consensus as I have heard it.
  7. And what is it? An IC board?
  8. Whoa, this is starting to sound like a real mastering mess! They are going to have to clarify the sources they are using before I would consider a new "remaster".
  9. Yes, one of the original LP releases' cover.
  10. What is that? The Japanese release? I don't recall ever seeing it.
  11. I never noticed especially slow connections and right now, my browser if flying from page to page.
  12. Atlantic/Rhino WPCR-27483 - Mose Allison " Swingin' Machine" - rec. 1962
  13. Charlie Byrd, Delicatelyl New York Contemporary Five, Consequences
  14. It took me long to get to this record. I think it was Johnny Dyani who took me there and now it's one of my favorites. You Ain't Gonna Know Me 'Cos You Think You Know Me is one of the most beautiful melodies I know.
  15. This again. Got volume 2 now as well. Will spin that one as well coming weeks.
  16. Thanks guys. Judson Hall was a live venue wasn't it? Ive got Noah Howards concert there. Checking my collection data now I see indeed some Frank Wright records were recorded at RLA studios. As was Carmell Jones' Jay Hawk Talkin but thats no ESP recording by any means of course.
