  3. Maybe the word Fake should be removed from the tread title.
  4. Awesome news, long overdue. Some extra music would be nice, but I’d be more than happy to just finally have the original recordings on CD. Now if we could just get someone to do a wide physical release of the ‘73 Town Hall concert, I’ll never not be annoyed by how that was handled.
  5. I wonder how Richie is doing these days? The last update to his Go Fund Me page in January didn't mention if he was improving. https://www.gofundme.com/f/coming-together-for-the-great-jazz-pianist-richie-beirach
  6. Another warm morning. Starting off with “Nelson Angelo E Joyce” on EMI cd. Interesting engineering here! And music as well from this then married couple. 399×400 28.4 KB followed by “LIVE IN CUBA Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis” Blue Engine 2 cd set, disc 1
  7. A good deal of the article was not paywalled so I at least got a glmpse. Zooming over the text, mention of the name of Warren Storm "the drummer" (more known for his La. rockabilly/swamp pop recordings in "our" circles ) caught my attention, so I'll check out the accessible part of the article in more detail later on.
  8. September 23 Norma Winstone - 1941
  9. add 1969/11/2 London, UK - Ronnie Scott's - BBC TV broadcast - I have a 7 minute recording of "Fragments of a Dedication....."
  10. That sounds promising!
  11. Just got my consolidated shipping invoice from deliveredkorea. Shipping cost up about 35% for a similar order from January. On top of that my prepaid tariff and fees = another 30%. will be my last overseas order. Just had to get a few things before they might get crazier.
  12. Ok thanks!
  13. The Whitney Museum of American Art, February 1969 (before 2/15 but after 2/8, not sure the exact date). Amsterdam, 11/7/69 -- Concertgebouw, it looks like, though my mind was telling me Paradiso... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institut_national_de_l'audiovisuel
  14. What is INA?
  15. Great news! Since Resonance reissued Albert Ayler's Foundation Maeght recording a few years ago, they should have access to Cecil Taylor's tapes too. Andrew Cyrille is in top form here, so I hope they release it while he's still alive. The Great Concert of Cecil Taylor aka Second Act of A is my favorite Cecil Taylor. Recordings from his quartet around that time, as far as I know, are: 1969/2/8 Grinnell College, IA 1969/7/29 Foundation Maeght, France aka “Second Act of A” 1969/11/4 Copenhagen, Denmark (w/ color video!) 1969/11/5 Stockholm, Sweden 1969/11/6 Berlin, Germany 1969/11/9 Rotterdam, Netherlands aka “Cecil Taylor Quartet In Europe” 1969/11/10 Stuttgart, Germany aka “Fragments of a Dedication to Duke Ellington” Are there any others?
  16. Yes!
