I see that their template files use a .mcw format, which I've never heard of (and my Mac doesn't recognize). But the task seems fairly simple: 1) Measure the insert space (height, width) 2) Open Word or Pages, and draw a rectangular shape that matches the insert space. Give it a thin border and no fill. 3) Create a text box, and overlay that onto the rectangle. 4) Duplicate that rectangle down the page, so you can fill out more than one at a time. 5) Save it as a template. Perhaps even easier would be to use a spreadsheet. You can fill in the columns and then just print and cut to fit. Good luck!

Orrin Evans “Faith in Action” Posi-Tone cd Wow, I like this one, and Evans’ work in general, the more I spin. He has a sort of nouveau Monk atmosphere at work. . . he has a vision and a solid style of execution. Powerful music! 300×271 9.86 KB

Been a few episodes that are a "miss" for me this season, but also a few good ones.

Songs For Mbizo looks interesting.

I'm really glad you have been enjoying it and that I didn't steer you wrong! I too love the ballad playing, and over the years I've come to enjoy it all, even the elements (such as the vocal chorus bits) that I didn't when I first encountered the material. Pharoah developed in important ways over the years, even progressing into a new sort of smoother cosmicness in the Verve years. What an artist.

Star Trek Strange New Worlds. I'm a hopeless Trekker from way back, but I haven't loved the most recent iterations until this one.

I'm now into disc 6 of the set. The most pleasant surprise for me has been the slow and pretty stuff. I never thought of Sanders as a ballad player, and I've especially enjoyed discovering that, especially on discs 5 and (so far) six. I'm less enthused about the fast things, especially when he starts what Mark calls (in what I agree with others are some very fine notes) "caterwauling in the stratosphere." But even there, he comes down to earth more often than he used to in the old Impulse days, and I especially enjoy John Hicks' piano. So, while I'm not over the moon like others, I think it was a worthwhile buy. Thanks to Lon and others for encouraging me to get it!

Anyone else use DiscSox sleeves to store their CD's? After using them for DVDs and blu-rays for years, I'm slowly converting my CD collection to them after previously using the Jazz Loft-style sleeves. The one issue I have is how to use the empty space at the top of the sleeve. This space is there to allow for a paper insert containing information about the disc (artist, title, year of release, year of reissue, etc). I would like to be able to use this space for an insert containing this type of info, because it would make flipping through a large collection much easier, but...I'm at a loss as to how to go about printing this information on paper. DiscSox offer a template on their website, but it's pretty basic. Is there a way to use something like MS Word, or some other software, to design a custom template better suited to my needs? Anyone with experience with this sort of thing? Any advice is appreciated!

Well it seems to be true ... fun fact: Tolle's extension (or release point) is as close to the batter as Aroldis Chapman. Can understand how it helps generate swing and miss. -

Those Pure Audio Project speakers look amazing. I would certainly have them on the short-list of a future speaker purchase if I had the room to accommodate them. Don't open baffle speakers need a bit of room to breathe?
