You must factor in the "attitudes" of the folks deciding what to record. Do not think the recordings represent the entire picture. White experiences influence all this stuff. It is impossible to imagine what was missed.

Two cd set - nothing new but both lps were over 40 minutes.

It drives me nuts and sometimes it takes me a couple of months to make a final decision. FWIW, I have been working on titles by Charles Tyler, Wadada, Lester Bowie, Bobby Bradford and Roscoe. Not often easy choices.

After another 2 days in the studio working on old tapes, comparing new digital masters to earlier digital masters, analog tapes and lp masters. Very interesting.

As I said earlier, they canceled 3 classicals in my list. Tonight I searched for those titles on the site and found all of them. I put them in my basket and placed an order. I will report back if they ship. All were in my mailbox today.
