In Pennsylvania we're lucky to get a refund within a month or two of filing. Do you file online? That's how I do it. I haven't done that yet. I'm sure that would speed things up, even in THIS state. Time to join the 21st Century.

Finished (with TurboTax) a couple weeks ago - owe the IRS $2000 and get back $500 from the state. State refund arrived in a week and goes toward the fed bill.

This is what you miss: In the early days they ran two machines, one stereo and one mono. Both machines were fed by the same board. They decided on the various input levels based on the mono machine and the stereo deck was along for the ride. Later when mixing the stereo tapes, they had to deal with level adjustments made for the "mono mindset".
