Hey! I took a "speed reading" class at the University of Iowa in 1962! Eventually you placed your book in this machine and it drew a curtain down the page to make you read faster. Then we were tested on comprehension. Learned the facts but not the flavor.

Now that the dreaded commercialism is out of the way - Von is a MF and it is best reflected in my 2 issues. Live performances are another story.

First of all, the licensing issue is correct. Part of the license with BMG would stipulate the labeling. All Mosaics will have this marking.
Next, EMI manufactures BMG club Blue Notes, Universal manufactures Verves for BMG, Sony manufactures Legacy releases for BMG, etc. Labeling is the only difference in the discs.
