Do not ignore the Naxos Bartok recordings of Gyorgy Pauk. The concerti are slower than I like, but beautiful and the chamber stuff is first rate.

First of all, the licensing issue is correct. Part of the license with BMG would stipulate the labeling. All Mosaics will have this marking. Next, EMI manufactures BMG club Blue Notes, Universal manufactures Verves for BMG, Sony manufactures Legacy releases for BMG, etc. Labeling is the only difference in the discs.

I actually think Counce's Landslide and More Bounce (aka Counceltation) are even better. You should get all 4.
