Hoppy T. Frog's Achievements

  1. A few concerts have been added, but there is no subscribable season, just individual concerts. Gregory Porter and the Cookers are respectable. I will admit I bought a ticket to Joe Lovano. https://www.kennedy-center.org/whats-on/explore-by-genre/jazz/
  2. This will be a "please take my money" release for me.
  3. I saw him at the 2024 Long Play festival in Brooklyn and immediately bought all the stuff I could find. It definitely, to me, is a cut above all of the usual 3rd generation watered-down minimalism and lazy "ambient" that mostly gets the art grants theese days for "new music".
  4. Interresting-- I knew his papers, scores and archives are now at the Library of Congress.
  5. I was lucky to ee hom once in Baltimore. RIP to the last of the Blue Notes--while I never knew them personally, an I'm just a fan, their collective and solo music always awakes positive feelings in me.
  6. This will be my third year going, can't wait.
  7. Removed by uploader, dang. I had it on my watchlist and never got around to it.
  8. More from Huddersfield. The world premiere of Wadada Leo Smith's String Quartet #17: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00275cd
  9. I contacted Nimbus too a couple days ago, haven't heard back. Galling to see Dusty Groove has them but not me
  10. I'm not sure I ever got the last batch, I'll have to check.
  11. I got the Centennial Box used several years ago, but sold it in my great collection purge to Da Bastids
  12. Also, the 1974 Centennial box has a separate CD reissue by Sony: https://arkivmusic.com/products/ives-the-anniversary-edition-5-cd
