  1. Full time: Arsenal 2, Tottenham Hotspur 3 (2-0 at half-time) Arsenal were excellent in the first half, Spurs in the second. Van der Vaart made the difference in the second half. Great game.
  2. I don't see the difference, a bootleg is a bootleg and the rule here is "no linking bootlegs", period. No exceptions. There's nothing zealous about it.
  3. That seems like a tenuous line being applied here. Who's to say this is an illegal bootleg? The original link was to Amazon. It shows it as an import from the label Ais. It's even being offered with Free Super Saver Shipping. I'm sure if Amazon was aware it was selling illegal goods, it would shut the page down, no? Nothing tenuous here. It is a bootleg. Miles was under contract with Columbia at the time, and the rights are now owned by Sony. I don't know why CDs with unauthorized material are being sold by Amazon, but the fact that CDs like this set are being offered with Free Super Saver Shipping doesn't say anything about the legality of the items.
  4. Remains the question whether this new reissue on Solar is a legit release.
  5. Sorry, I disagree, I didn't like the sound on the few Membran discs I had. They sounded to me as if noise reduction was used generously. Sold them. Hans, the question is whether you can make a generalization about their all reissues. Well, Flurin (ubu) said it all in post #6:

  10. "Blue Rose" hasn't been back here since May 10 this year. If they haven't replied to your e-mails, I'm beginning to wonder if it's some kind of scam...

  14. Perhaps you could post the CD numbers, it would make identification of these discs easier. If the numbers are TOCJ-9xxx they're JRVGs, if they are TOCJ-1xxx they're "Blue Note Works" CDs.

  17. Gone thanks to you Hans. You're welcome
  18. The Teddy Wilson Mosaic 5CD-set is available on eBay with a "Buy It Now"-price of €65, which is about $91 at the current exchange rate. Considering the prices it is usually going for, this is pretty cheap. Shipping is €20. I am not the seller.
  19. Are you sure about that? Both jazzdisco.org and Lord seem to say that Bad! Bossa Nova was the original title, and Jungle Soul the later one. You're right, according to Bruyninckx, Michel Ruppli's Prestige discography (page 133) and Neal Umphred's Goldmine's Price Guide to Collectible Jazz Albums 1949-1969 (2nd edition; page 48) Bad! Bossa Nova was the original LP title. That makes sense to me, given my "hybrid" copy. They would use up their supply of "Jungle Soul" LPs, even if they put them in newer "Bad Bossa Nova" covers. Shouldn't that be the other way around? Bad! Bossa Nova came first, followed by Jungle Soul, or am I misreading your post?
