  1. I haven't referred to either in a very long time. They were both essential for me when I first started developing my interest in jazz though.
  2. Front and Center on Trix is highly recommended. This is a live recording that is as intimate a performance as anything I own. In my mind, it always paired with Boogie Chillun. Makes sense that he travelled so extensively with John Lee Hooker. I'll pull that disc off the shelf this week.
  3. I have been absolutely mesmerized by Andy Goldsworthy ever since I saw the documentary. Also, Theo Jansen. See here: http://www.google.com/search?q=kinetic+art&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a#q=kinetic+sculpture+theo+jansen&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=YCT&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&prmd=ivnso&source=univ&tbs=vid:1&tbo=u&sa=X&ei=P-drTaLVGImctweO96nmAg&sqi=2&ved=0CDkQqwQ&bav=on.1,or.&fp=ed95a43a1d6a1527 Both are just brilliant, and on very different spectrum.
  4. Damn. I have an album of his called "Front And Center" that I really like. I bought it used on a whim years ago and listen to it fairly often. I didn't know his history. RIP.
  5. A new album?? Is there a release date? I am fascinated by this music.
  6. Looks to me like you boys have solved another one. And in record time.
  7. Either way he looks like he's on something. Dots.
  8. Not too soon to try those new chompers on a birthday cake I hope! Have a great day!
  9. I think everyone is over-saturated with loyalty marketing. Borders, among other grand mistakes, perhaps never realized the inherent weaknesses. They were only selling to their existing and dwindling customer base.
  10. Very very interested. Help me with an explanation for my wife.
  11. Sure would be nice if this metadata was automatically downloaded from the database as soon as you rip a disc though. Is this what the OP is getting at?
  12. Everything I buy from now on better have something Ralph Macchio -related.
  13. Nice work! I'd love to hear these.
  14. Is HE the guy that came up with "Life sucks and then you die"?
  15. Damn Bill. Get well.
  16. Maybe his muscles are properly protecting his skeleton.
  17. "everythings always a letdown."
  18. I'd love to have some Nessa vinyl. I'd love to have more Nessa CD.
  19. Yeah, but that guy sleeps with Demi Moore, so...
  20. That's what I was guessing...
