I do not like at all the RVG mastered "You Gotta Take a Little Love" CD by the late Horace Silver - one my favorited by him. I jJust noticed that it is part of the recent SHM series, as is "Cape Verdean Blues". Since both of them never appeared in an 'audiophile" label on CD or SACD, I ll appreciate your eventual input on the audio quality of these titles in their SHM incarnation. Thanks Alex

Rollins' Moving Out is similarly excellent. Impossible to stop listening to More Than You Know with Monk. Between the two of us we have all titles on Alex's list except the Rollins Plays For Bird. I'm wondering how good that album is. I've never heard it on CD. Oops. I forgot to order one of my all time favorites, from these SHM series; I am playin now the DSD mini lp from Japan (2007). What a session!

These Atlantic Jazz cds from japan are like potato chips... I always include one or two in my orders from japan. Now, I am really enjoying Herbie Mann's "Stone Flute" featuring Sharrock, Vitous + strings in some tracks. Quite a recording, apart from any other Mann album I know. Experimental, moody etc. Highly recommended. Following this, I just placed my order for two Mann's Newport albums and another one with Sharrock (Windows opened) and Sharrock's own Black Woman as well as Corea's above mentioned CD. I inlcuded also Vitous/Marcus/Sharrock "Green Line" CD which I never had.
