  1. I really like the velour pads. Pleather makes my ears sweat!
  2. I recently purchased these over-the-ear open back headphones. Super comfortable and great, natural sound. Obviously not designed for mobile use. The current price of $129.85 is the lowest it's ever been. Sennheiser HD 598 SR Open-Back Headphone
  3. I appreciate you taking the extra step to remove any affiliate tags from your links in this thread. As to your position on CBD, that's between you and your God.
  4. This isn't the forum to offer things for sale. Please delete and repost elsewhere.
  5. $30 off a $400 item? How is that a bargain? I know the OP is trying to make a little extra cash, but c'mon, put some effort into it.
  6. Thanks, Larry. Listening to this album on Spotify.
  7. I think it's more likely that wheat used to spoil more quickly in the South than it did in the North. Think "hotter and more humid" versus "cooler and drier".
  8. I'm betting that the answer is "yes". iTunes generally can't work with WAV-based metadata like cover art. You could convert the WAV files to Apple lossless, then add cover art. If the files in question are not WAV, check to see if they're locked as "read-only", or if the security permissions are set incorrectly. These issues are not new to Mojave.
  9. You're not alone. I worked in a Boston nightclub in the early eighties and was a big fan of the group (not to mention the major crush I had on Robin ).
  10. I think the term "orchestra" was often used in jazz to lend more credibility to an ensemble, rather than an indication of its size or instrumentation. Ellington's earliest orchestra had 10 members, increasing to 14 in the early 30's and 16 by the mid-40's. In contrast, (Charles and Burton) Fischer's Jazz Orchestra and "Illinois Jacquet and His Orchestra" were actually septets.
  11. Memories I'll cherish 'til next season:
  12. "... the Dodgers faced a rocky future. They may have been fielding one of the best teams in baseball, but it was an aging team. And their stadium, Ebbets Field, was falling apart. Built in 1912 before the age of mass spectator sports, the facilities were poor and only certain sections had decent views of the field. Profits were dwindling, and fans were not turning out for games. Poor parking, poor facilities, and the stadium’s location in a minority neighborhood during a time of racial prejudice kept people away. Fewer ticket sales meant less cash for new players and stadium improvements." Who's Really to Blame for Dodgers Leaving Brooklyn?
  13. I hope you're right. Come to think of it, that would be pretty funny.
  14. Chris Sale was hospitalized because of an infected bellybutton ring?!?! Oh Lord, you can't make this shit up.
  15. Exciting game in Atlanta tonight. I'm glad the series will continue.
  16. So all of the various Milestone issues (LP, CD, box set) of the "In Japan" material have used the edited tracks? Makes me want to hear what was left out.
  17. It is now, but it wasn't when the thread was created. Typically, the OP of an obituary thread cites a credible source, often providing a link so we can learn more. When a person hears of such the sad news, our first reaction is "Is it true?" Rest in peace, Mr. Bluiett, and thank you. I'm going to listen to W.S.Q., the quartet's second release on Black Saint, and savor the sound of his big horn.
  18. "social media"? Would you please provide a reliable source for this distressing news? Thanks.
  19. Cosby sentenced to 3-10 years. Denied bail on appeal. On his way to prison as we speak.
