The albums from the CD era probably have more music than would fit on an LP. Re-editing the masters would cause additional costs, while you simply can pull the master tapes of releases from the LP era. Now is Smulyan a small guy or Cuber a big guy?

The gusys at Fantasy sometimes made strange decisions when combining albums for "twofers".
