Track 2 is an ECM recording but I can't pinpoint it yet. If it isnt, it should be I need track 15 in my home! I hope it's not from some dreadfully obscure LP

Richard Powers - Orfeo Powers writes beautifully about music (classical) and the frustrated composer's lot in a novel that also takes in bio terrorism and homeland security. Glad I picked it up prompted by remembering how much I'd enjoyed his "The Time Of Our Singing" (also music themed) many years ago

I blame Corbyn personally as for the barbarians storming the walls of Castle Prog, I knew you were joking. One man's Year Zero is another's misty nostalgia trip. Don't get me started on that R4 programme....... It would be interesting to look back at Peel's playlists for 75-78 and see how much of a complete break there was or whether some lines of continuity did exist. I fear a bit for the book but I'm not too sure why. l hope I'm wrong. I'm fairly certain Peel's self-deprecation (which I took to be honest) would mean he'd shudder at the subtitle

great album! Been at least 15 years since I played it..a nice reminder to dig it out again! "Springbird" and "etiquette" are worth hunting for too another fan of that one here. Also of 'Springbird' and 'Etiquette'

I'm wondering what people are using to keep all this lovely vinyl posted here clean? Any recommendations on cloths, brushes, anti-static gizmos and liquids gratefully accepted Ideally I'd be looking at a record cleaning machine but budget and space preclude at the moment apologies if this has been discussed before. Search facility didn't turn anything up
